[Takeru's appeared on the Plane again, but this time with some equipment. Since he's been told that time doesn't pass at home while he's on the Plane, he's brought his desk and computer with him. Just one, not his massive computer bank that he has in the Digital World.]

[He's currently inputting data, and tweaking some coding. The screen is showing some sort of creature, and there's a box like a DOS prompt popped up on the side. He's also muttering to himself.]

It should be... yeah. But its internal systems are still unstable... I need to make sure that it doesn't error out on itself and crash...

[He hits a button and a red error message pops up.]

That's what I thought. [He keys in another set of commands, and then clicks on another box on the screen. A double-helix pops up and expands, and he starts hunting through it, looking for... something.]

No way, man. This is just my online avatar, from a video game. First time I showed up here, it was through the game. I guess that means that no matter how I get here anymore, I'm always gonna show up like this.

I got it. Sort of like how no matter what I'm wearing in the real world, it turns into the same clothes in the Digital World. Unless I change there.

Well, I never thought about changing clothes here on the Plane, but I'm doubting that'd help the hair at all. [He shakes his head at the mental image of his everyday clothes and his omgblue hair]

But yeah, sort of like that. Though, now you've got me curious. What's the Digital World?

Hair dye? ... That would probably be a lot of trouble... it would be a neat experiment, anyway.

The Digital World... it's another dimension, sort of. It's made up entirely of data, and there's a lot of different creatures there that are also made of data.

But... there's also a lot of evil creatures there. So some children were picked to help defend it. That's my job.

So, sort of like a video game, but... you actually go inside of it? [Wait. Tsukasa said something like that, except Tsukasa wasn't there willingly... maybe Kuhn can get some sort of idea out of this conversation!]

... Sort of, yeah. Except that deleted data from the real world goes there. Like... say you were building a construction project. And you had to shut it down for some reason, so you deleted the data in your computer. The data would be sent to the Digital World, and the project would be built there.

Yeah, there really is. Telephone booths out of nowhere, random buildings halfway buried in the desert... creatures that look like stuff that should belong only in legends or something...
