[Gwendolyn is wandering around the kitchen investigating, and opens the refrigerator door.] Oh, this is for storing food. [She closes the door and circles around it. Then she opens it again, searching.] I wonder how it is kept cold. There is not enough snow nor ice to warrant such frigid temperatures... I'm sure father would enjoy a home cooked meal. But there is not much that I know how to cook. Certainly nothing befitting our king.
[She closes the door and sighs.] Griselda would laugh at the thought. I am a warrior, not a homemaker. I should not be thinking such things. There are people on the field to make our food. I need only be concerned with the next battle...

It's... a systematic way of getting knowledge from the world. Through experimentation and examination. And then it's supposed to produce results that can predict the world because it's supposed to formulate what the laws of the universe are.

I do not know. The horizon glowed for a moment, and when we arrived there was nothing left of Valentine but lone walls and uprooted trees. The Cauldron was unharmed, and it sits in the center of a radial pattern. The disaster must have stemmed from there.
