001 - Upon Infinity

[And onto the Astral Plane walks a most extravagantly and well dressed male with skin and hair as white as the cravat he wears proudly. The deep black cape seems to cover all but his half outstretched arm which had only just been pushing open a mysterious door a moment prior. It lingered there for a moment before being outstretched again to his side, and pushing the left side of his cape behind his shoulder.

And upon his face was a most bemused smirk]

And so, where to would the mysterious doorway within my castle lead me but into the starry expanse of infinity. Or perhaps something deceptively resembling that of infinity. No reason to simply assume something based upon first impressions.

Yet this is not a part of my Castlevania.

I will, in this case, assume there is an explanation to be had. [Takes a few steps forward] I am sure it will be a good one, too.

Mm, then I wish I had a little better luck! Well, I guess my luck is a bit better since I've come here, though. Ne, that's why I like this place so much, after all. There are lots of wonderful people here.

Wonderful people. An oxymoron for the ages, though one that has exceptions. We shall see what kind of company the denizens of this plane can provide.

Well, I think they're pretty wonderful, anyways. Not everyone, certainly, but for the most part I think the people here are agreeable enough.

An impressive claim to make. Humans themselves are conflict driven creatures. Yet, as you say, this does serve as port to a diverse range of life.

Perhaps I will be surprised twice by this place.

I think that's what the Twins wanted. Or, that's what it seems like to me. There are all kinds of people here, and...Well, to be honest, the ones that I have problems with aren't human!

A time machine, mostly. She's very rude, and I can barely stand her.

A machine poses the most annoyance to a vampire. [Some laughter] Strange place indeed.

Isn't it? It sounds ridiculous, but it's true! There are a few others that are...a bit annoying, I guess, but I don't hate them. Like I'm cross with one person for burning my wrists, but that's still not that bad.

Ridiculous indeed. The truth of the matter only makes it intriguing.

So those that come here do not properly fear the night. Or perhaps they have just not been introduced to it proper. What a fine little project this place may indeed pose. Eternity can grow boring, even with fine company.

Now there is hardly any reason to put myself at needless risk for little more than entertainment.

I have no reason to needlessly put at risk their lives unless they give me cause to. I have more than enough rabble to endanger that deserve such treatment.
