064: The Next Time You Say Forever I Will Punch You in Your Face

[Well, Hei is back for the first time since Misaki disappeared and since he tried to break the Plane. He looks even worse now than he did then--he's still pale from the after-effects of blood loss, he has lost weight from not eating properly, and he looks downright exhausted.]

[He stands there a little awkwardly, his gaze empty, before finally he just walks into the Astral Bar, grabs a bottle from behind the counter and takes a seat. He looks generally like he wants to be left alone, but feel free to come bother him. He is fully expecting some kind of backlash for what he did.]

[He tenses just for a moment when he sees her, but then he just pours himself a drink.]

Imagine not.

[Jolyne plops down on the next stool over and leans on the counter. There's a dog hanging over her shoulder, watching. And sand. Lots of sand.]

[Hei pours himself a drink, keeping the bottle close by. He doesn't answer.]

[She leans closer and waves a hand in front of his face] Yoo-hoo, anybody home in there?

[Juni appears in the bar, sees Hei and hesitates for a moment but then sits next to him] Hello.

[He doesn't look at her, but he nods, and then pours himself a glassful of amber liquid.]

[She makes a slight movement towards him but then withdraws a little and stares at her hands]

[And now there is a Crowley, hopping up to sit on the bar with a tumbler of something alcoholic in one hand.]

Taking my advice, I see. How's it been working for you?

[He pours a drink and knocks back about half of it.]

[Crowley brings his glass up to his mouth and smirks.]

Always looking on the bright side, Hei. That's what I like about you.

[For once, Ikki has nothing to say. What /do/ you say after someone that meaningful been erased from the Plane? Ikki nearly cut it close himself...

He stands there just out of the corner of Hei's eye for a long moment. Instead of saying something, he strips his Kogarasumaru jacket and sets it around his friend's shoulders, then sits at the bar beside him with a soda and a bendy straw.]

[Hei senses Ikki's presence, but he keeps going with pouring himself a drink and drinking it probably a little too fast. He pauses when he feels the jacket around his shoulders and looks over as Ikki sits down.]
