[it's been a really, really long time since Lucy showed up on the Plane, so here she is. perfectly happy and content and sitting on the edge of her bed, going through bags of clothing she bought when her and Donna were ditched on a shopping planet. which doesn't bother her because mmmm, shopping.
besides, she needed to replace quite a few items that may or may not have been left behind elsewhere
so she pulls out several pieces, including jewellery, and sets them all out on the bed, taking in her haul. she also has a very lovely pendant necklace she pulls out to look at a moment before tucking it away and shoving it back in the bag. it's not that important. besides, there may or may not be gifts for a few on the Plane, so hop on by to bug her~]

Diva! I was hoping you'd stop by. [pats the bed next to her] I have something for you, dear.

Ne, for me? That's really sweet of you!

[observers of the Doctor will note the moment he realizes who he is near he pulls out a datapad and begins focusing on what he's writing as hard as he possibly can]

I don't suppose you can do that elsewhere?
no subject
I could say the same to you. Energy surges are here, I'm here.

It is remarkable how much thought must be put into one's appearance.
no subject
Thought, and contentment. Sometimes it's simply enjoyable to find lovely things.
no subject
This is quite true.

leastfavourite person at the moment. he's torn between bothering her and just walking away. seeing as walking away means he's the only one bothered he will harass her instead.]Quite a haul you have there. Shopping excursion, is that where they're picking Donna up from? [grins] Well, it's good to know that when the real heavy fighting is under way, you can be found at the nearest boutique.

At least I know when I'm being dropped off, as opposed to some</i< people.

From all accounts it seemed to be quite the success. Your husband seemed pleased with it all, at least. Probably for the best you weren't there then, wouldn't want to spoil his good mood.

Do you need some help, Ma'am?
no subject
Oh, please. Call me Lucy. Ma'am makes me sound so old. And if you'd like, you're welcome to help me hang some of these. Dreadful things, hangers. Nothing ever wants to sit on them properly.
no subject
I surely can relate. Have you tried using the hangers with the pinchy-things on the ends? They're meant to be for skirts, but they work just as well for blouses and dresses with a more delicate neckline.
[She does help Lucy unpack her purchases, though, and starts to put things on corresponding hangars with the skill of... well, someone who's been doing this for over a hundred years. Which she has.]

Now there's a lot of glitter.

Hardly anything so tacky as that.

She gestures at the results of the shopping trip.]
That display isn't tacky?
