[He is carrying a gun. It is a handgun, generic, nondescript.]

[It's not anger on his face. It's not even fury. There are no words to describe the levels of anger and loss that are radiating from him. There is tiredness there as well. He has been out searching for the better part of the past twenty-four hours.]

[He comes to a stop, the gun hanging at his side, his eyes darting every which way.]

[ooc: Hei is extremely unstable right now and is liable to shoot anyone he thinks is in his way. Be careful! Also, in a few tags Hei is going to try to break the Plane using his godmod powers of molecular manipulation. The people who will be jumping into that to stop the world from ending Hei from killing himself and others know who they are. I don't care anymore. [He shakes his head.] They'll bring her back. It doesn't matter. It won't come to that. I'll make them bring her back.

{She's still walking with Hei and pauses, but then speaks softly}

I can't let you hurt them, Hei.

I'm not planning on killing them just yet. [His eyes flick to the side. He's more than prepared to fight her, if she tries to get in his way, but he'd rather not have it come to that. There's no point in dying before he reaches the Twins, after all...and she's Diva. He doesn't want to hurt her.]

[madamemoiselle]

Just yet? {Her tone softens}

Ne, Hei, I mean...I know you're upset Hei, but what if it does more than just hurting them or killing them? If the Plane disappears, then it's not just you, Hei. Everyone here, they would...I don't want to lose this place, Hei. Don't take this place away from me, please.

[And suddenly he's laughing, low and a little broken.] They'll fix it. They can fix everything, right?

[madamemoiselle]

I...don't know, Hei. The only person I've ever really know to leave was Ikki, and...Well, he came back.

[contract_star]

[He shakes his head, still laughing a little.] I meant the Plane. If I broke it, they'd fix it, just like before, remember? Anyway, it won't matter then. Nothing will matter.

[madamemoiselle]

I don't want to risk that.

[contract_star]

[He doesn't answer and keeps walking.]

[madamemoiselle]

{She just tags along behind him}

You can't, Hei. You can't break the Plane.

I won't have to if they just agree to bring her back.

[madamemoiselle]

And if they don't? I have a feeling that they're not going to, Hei.

{She takes a few more steps to stop in front of him, smiling just a little, but she speaks airily} Ne, Hei and I are friends, but I really won't let you take it away from me, Hei.

[He doesn't even hesitate, he just steps around her and keeps walking.]

Please don't get in my way, Diva.

[madamemoiselle]

{She grabs his wrist this time, tightly}

Then don't try and take it away.

[He stops finally.] I won't if I don't have to.

There's no reason to even consider it.
