063: When There is Nothing Left to Burn You Have to Set Yourself On Fire

[Hei appears on the Plane.]

[He is carrying a gun. It is a handgun, generic, nondescript.]

[It's not anger on his face. It's not even fury. There are no words to describe the levels of anger and loss that are radiating from him. There is tiredness there as well. He has been out searching for the better part of the past twenty-four hours.]

[He comes to a stop, the gun hanging at his side, his eyes darting every which way.]


TWINS! COME OUT HERE, NOW!!




[ooc: Hei is extremely unstable right now and is liable to shoot anyone he thinks is in his way. Be careful! Also, in a few tags Hei is going to try to break the Plane using his godmod powers of molecular manipulation. The people who will be jumping into that to stop the world from ending Hei from killing himself and others know who they are. But beware if your character chooses to come up to him after he has triggered the ability. IM me at pendragon237 if you're planning on this so we can discuss.]

[He grits his teeth and moves to walk past him.] Have you seen them? Where are they? I need to-- [He cuts himself off.]

[Why is Crowley around? IDK. Maybe he was raiding the Astral Bar or something. Either way, he smells like a liquor store exploded on him.]

[He was walking past this point, anyway, and he sort of staggers to a stop.]

...Hei?

[Grabs his wrist with the gentle but unbreakable strength that most saints seem to sport] Who?

[Hei seems to barely notice him and walks on past him, looking around. He's been like this for the past day, barely even on Earth.]

I need them. Have you seen them?

[madamemoiselle]

{She's never seen Hei this angry before, and it worries her}

Hei, what happened? What's wrong?

[He barely notices and keeps walking until he comes to a stop, like a dog at the end of its leash. He turns and looks back at Mu, and when he speaks his voice is low and dangerous.]

Let me go, Mu.

[contract_star]

[He walks on past her as if she's not there.]

Have you seen them? I need to--talk. Talk to them.

No. Why do you need them?

[madamemoiselle]

{Frowns, walking with him}

Not recently, no.

[His eyes spark red, but he doesn't release his power. He doesn't want to hurt Mu. Not Mu.]

Misaki. She's gone. If they don't bring her back, I'm going to kill them.

[Hei does indeed receive the Twins, albeit not alone. They are following Derogative, who is currently in his very large normal form (see; Crowley's thread). Derogative is silent and already in a defensive pose. He can smell the rage that Hei there is producing.

The Twins are basically hidden against Derogative, though they do poke out just a bit to speak with Hei. They're busy focusing on the gun.]

Crowley wanted to see us, too.

[He makes an indiscriminate sound of exasperation and doesn't slow his pace, still looking all over.]

Oh, the Twins? Nuh, I dunno. What..?

[This? This cannot be good. At all. No way. Better approach with caution.]

[Hei spots them and comes to a stop, watching them, sizing up the situation, like a hunter who has just spotted his prey. Then he starts moving in, slowly, his grip tightening on the gun.]

[His voice is calm and his words are clear when he speaks.]

I want you to bring back Misaki Kirihara.

[madamemoiselle]

What's wrong, Hei?

[THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE IN HIS WAY. Hei walks past Chris as if he isn't there.]

Have you seen them? Where are they?

[His grip does not waver]

And then what?

Misaki. Misaki is gone. They're going to bring her back.

[contract_star]

[He keeps walking.] Useless. I need them. Need to talk to them.

[Chris watches him go, then slowly walks after him.]

I haven't seen them, but... I think Crowley has.

{Diva feels a swell of emotion, at least on Hei's behalf and steps closer to take his hand very delicately. She doesn't try to stop him, just holds his hand}

Oh...Hei, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Hei.

Then nothing. It doesn't matter. Let me go.

[The Twins end up ducking a little more into Derogative but they still look at Hei, despite the fear. Derogative, meanwhile, is raising his hackles.]

It's very difficult to control. We can't track everyone so easily. So we're not sure if we can really get them back but we're trying.
