003 [Slightly Clandestine]

[Susan is sitting at a desk when she arrives on the Plane, frowning a little as she browses the books and documents spread out in front of her. There is a mug of tea on the table as well, but it is now cold (and largely obscured by paper).

If you get close enough to investigate, you'll see that she is looking into forging documents.

Why? Well, for a start, it would be nice to be able to help Astrid properly. Secondly, she and her grandfather seem to spend a lot of time on Earth. If they get into trouble, she wants to be able to get them out of it.]

Friend of Astrid?

[Susan looks up, then nods and smiles.]

I suppose it is rather obvious, isn't it?

Alien?

I didn't know that was obvious.

Are you talking about me, or about Astrid?

Well I know Astrid is. I was asking about you.

Oh. Well, yes, I am an alien.

Have you been coming to the Plane for a while?

Yup. Haven't seen many aliens though. Other than the occasional Doctor.

From my point of view, most of the people here are aliens.

Oh, you know my grandfather?

Well by majority rule, you're the alien.

The Doctor. There are quite a few versions of him here.

So I guess the Twins want to start bringing his family in too?

I don't know. I'm not sure why they'd want to bring me here. I don't really mind, though. It was nice to see the Master again, and so many different versions of my grandfather.

[Susan has no idea why that's surprising. She has yet to learn that he's, you know, evil now.]

He's my grandfather's best friend. I knew him quite well, when I was a child.

Best friend, worst enemy, same thing? Kind of like how aloha means hello and goodbye?

Worst enemy? I'm sorry, we must be thinking of different people...

Don't know much really. Just know the Masters are bad news. Into domination, torture, the works.

Masters? Oh, I didn't realise there were multiple versions of him here. They must be from different universes. He ... I mean ... the Master I know wouldn't ...

You talk to your grandpappies about him lately?

No. I ... I didn't realise I should.
