003 [Slightly Clandestine]

[Susan is sitting at a desk when she arrives on the Plane, frowning a little as she browses the books and documents spread out in front of her. There is a mug of tea on the table as well, but it is now cold (and largely obscured by paper).

If you get close enough to investigate, you'll see that she is looking into forging documents.

Why? Well, for a start, it would be nice to be able to help Astrid properly. Secondly, she and her grandfather seem to spend a lot of time on Earth. If they get into trouble, she wants to be able to get them out of it.]

What? [Susan looks up quickly, and a little sheepishly.] Oh, no. I was just reading.

It doesn't actually look that difficult, though.

Well, I do to... I don't really know how, I don't really deal with them that much, they just get the paperwork to me I'm afraid.

[Smile] Earth, though with a few differences from the normal earths I suppose.

I suppose it is rather obvious, isn't it?

[strides towards her, grinning] Susan! Hello. [and then he spots the paperwork, and his eyebrows rise] Oh, dear, is my granddaughter practising forgery?

[his tone affects disapproval, but his eyes are glinting]

I've not actually forged anything yet. [Susan shuffles the papers a little sheepish.] I just thought I should learn.

I hope I'll never have to use it, but I suppose it pays to be careful.

One of my friends here is in trouble, as well. She was stranded on Earth, and UNIT are trying to track her down. It would be nice to be able to help her.

Well, she needs some documents to stay safe. I'm trying to find out how I could make them for her. Or find them. At the moment, that's all I can do.

[She looks up, but her smile is a little unsure. She still isn't entirely sure how the multiples here work, but the phrase 'human Doctor' has managed to stick in her mind. All she knows is that he looks very like a version of her grandfather.]
