016 - As The World Falls Down

[There is a new arrival to the plane.

One that is quite large.

And expansive garden labyrinth has appeared, stretching as far as it is wide. The hedges are tall and well groomed, and it in all but impossible to see over any of the walls. Throughout the structure, there are many points to rest, ornately carved stone benches frames with flowers. Especially tuberose.

It is her favorite, after all.

At the very center sits Reinette on the wall of a stone fountain. Water flows from several wells within a stone Minotaur, coating its surface so that it reflects that distant lights of the Plane.

Haaa! [Sorry, Reinette, but have a Pino running through the maze, yelling and laughing at the top of her non-existent lungs. She makes sure to check absolutely every turn, corner and dead end, forming a mental map in her head almost unconsciously. She'll be able to find her way out almost instinctively, and she's making her loud and giggly way toward the middle.]

[Pino keeps tearing up and down each and every pathway, gradually getting closer to the center. Her pink bunny ears are flapping out behind her.]

It's a labyrinth! A labyrinth! Like the story! Will there be a minotaur, will there?

[she smiles, listening to the excitement evident in their voice]

A stone one, yes.

Hah? And a person? Or a talking minotaur?

[She rounds the final corner and takes a huge hop out into the open.] Hop! Hm? Haaaah! So pretty!

It does not speak. He merely looks at us both rather forbiddingly.

Forbiddingly? [She stares up at the minotaur and mimics its expression, then sticks her tongue out at it and laughs.]

[oh my, but Reinette is laughing now]

[And Pino starts laughing as well, though she's not quite sure why. Then again she rarely does.]

[Reinette does not often laugh, not truly. Now she cannot seem to stop herself]

[And Pino matches her laughter.]
