[Have a Handy humming to himself in the kitchen as he goes about getting ingredients out of pantries and the refrigerator.  After speaking with Ray and Chris earlier, he is almost certain he knows how to make pancakes.  He has never actually done this, however.  He figures now would be as good a time as any to distract himself by testing out this assumption]

[Ticks off his fingers casually.] You do sulk, you have been known to give the silent treatment, you keep yourself interested first and foremost, I don't think you count as 'respectful' most of the time, there's nothing wrong with name-dropping, I always remember the original topic after an educational detour, I have no idea what you mean by that 'forget it's a conversation' bit, I'm much better at universal culture and yes, you may go on if you see fit.

I do not sulk. Ever. Nor do I give the silent treatment. The only one guilty of that, here, is you. Well. [waves a hand to indicate Handy, too, whatever.] My interest is always the other person's interest, and it's not my fault if they fail to engage. As you often do. I'm certainly more respectful - which of us, do you remember, addresses the other's companions as 'Miss Jones' and 'Miss Grant'? Name-dropping is a bad habit, you do not always remember the topic, 'forget a conversation' means you never let the other person talk,' and while you may have had a better ranking in universal cultures when we were boys, I think you'll find I've picked up a very great deal in the intervening centuries. Being held at the dangerous end of one too many weapons does that to a man.

We don't sulk. But fine. Silent treatment isn't just silent treatment, it's "I really don't want to have this fight" ...treatment. Or something. And you can't honestly say you're always interested in the other person, can you? The respect bit is relative. I don't think 'miss' or 'mister' or anything automatically makes it respectful. And all right, I'll give you that. But I think I still know more.

You do too sulk, and avoiding getting into yet another argument over whatever idiotic thing you've decided to try to drive me mad with is hardly the silent treatment. I'm not always interested; they have a responsibility in the conversation as well. I'm as respectful as they deserve, and you definitely don't know more.

I think he means what you call the silent treatment is an attempt to not fight with you. Besides that, you're never guilty of the silent treatment, so it wouldn't apply to you either way.

[Just drinks his milkshake and starts humming. He's really not paying attention now and probably being annoying in his head with upbeat music. Because he can.]

Nothing is more annoying than the Master's drumming, baby, so prepare for pwnage time]

Either way, Handy slurps the last of his milkshake and looks around. He was planning on a pancake feast and ended up with a quarter of a sandwich and a now finished milkshake. Any intention of waiting until they left to get more food is gone, and he's going to get up now and scrounge around for more food while you boys do what you boys do]

[The Doctor is still sort of hungry, too, but he's mostly going to annoy the Master, because that's more fun. And the drums totally don't bug him, either.

Besides, Handy probably won't make him more food. Whine whine.]

[He's going to be totally oblivious to you two while he looks for more food. And score, scones! He likes scones, and plus he knows they like scones, too. And yeah, he's sort of pathetic in the fact that he's purposely looking for something they'll both like, too. So he grabs scones and things for scones like jam and stuff]
