[The twins are holding their clipboards and checking off things. They look up at Meredith] They're all beginning to access the plain of their own accord now, so it's time to officially begin the experiment! This one should produce better results than the Chimera experiment.

[Meredith stand still, voice light and careless] Perhaps we should explain some things to the subjects. It seems this may facilitate the progress of the experiment.

[The twins frown and tuck their clipboards under their arms in unison] Why do we need to do that?

I have previously given my justification. [Meredith gazes across the plane] We may find it beneficial.

'Beneficial'? [The twins give long, somewhat dramatic sighs] Fiiiine. If they really need to know...

[Turning away from the Twins, Meredith sets her gaze on those nearby] If you are inclined to ask questions of us, we may elect to answer them. Please direct all queries here.

Two questions.

What, exactly, is the Chimaera experiment?

And, if this is an experiment, what exactly is the hypothesis that you are trying to prove or disprove?

[and the Master gets the Twins] Ohhh, that! That was just for fun. We wanted to try making a special hybrid creature but it didn't go so well.

We need a hypothesis? Kidding! We want to test to the limits of this place. But booo, we can't. But you guys can.

Why or what exactly did you need a chimaera for?

[he pauses for a moment]

What sort of limitations are you looking for?

We didn't need one. We just wanted to see if we could do it.

[pause and look around] Well. For the sake of the experiment, the less you know, the better it will probably work. But for our own interests, we're curious about life spans and separate but co-existing realities.

Knowledge for the sake of knowledge, or out of simple curiosity?

[a smirk]

Is there anyone who happens to be in charge, or giving you orders?

Just for curiosity's sake~

Also... are either of you two consistent truthtellers or consistent liars?

Not really! We guess we don't want too many people killed but it might have interesting effects to study...

[both grin] We're like that riddle about the truth teller and the liar. If you asked them both if they were telling the truth, they would both answer yes~

On the co-existing realities?

Mmm. Smart. If I had to be the subject of an experiment, I'd prefer it to be from someone capable. Let's continue on with that, shall we?

If I were to ask your sibling whether you always tell the truth, what would they say?

Well, in general but do what you like. It can be a pain to gather more test subjects.

[both burst out laughing] We like you! You know your stuff.

[female twin] I would probably say Lazuli lies.

[and the male twin] And I would say Lapis lies.

Ahhh, thank you, on both the statement towards my knowledge and letting me know that neither of you are constant liars or truth tellers.

Now, what is meant by co-existing realities?

I figured we were all simply brought together into one place from different realities and timelines into a new one, but co-existing realities is a different concept all together.

Why didn't you answer that question as readily as you did the other ones?

Because answering questions gets boooooring. It was Meredith's idea anyway.

If that was the case, you would have answered me plainly to begin with instead of causing me to repeat it four times.

How did you draw people from different realities and timelines into what, if I'm guessing right, is a mingled set of existences or a layered set of them?
