[gives the Doctor a fleeting look, but he is exhausted and sleep sounds amazing]

All right, just, make sure you wake me, yeah?

[sighs and makes his way out of the console room to bed and sleep and the day really did take it out of him, because head hits pillow and he's asleep]

[let's have a little fast-forward, shall we? The TARDIS fixes itself. The Doctor checks Lucy's room and is unsurprised to find she isn't there. He lands on Villagua by accident but they have the supplies he needs. He fixes the TARDIS some more. Eventually, he remembers he really should go to the hospital and lands them back on New Earth.]

[were we fast forwarding montage style? I love a good montage. shots of the Doctor doing many things spliced with shots of Handy sleeping in various positions? That's totally what he's been doing while the Doctor's off being productive and stuff. So he will stretch out, in the way people do when the wake up, roll out of bed throw some shoes on, etc. etc. and come bleary eyed to the door, trying to stifle a yawn]
