[There is a massive draft horse of indeterminate breeding on the plane. It does not look happy to be there. In fact all the vibes it's giving off are those of extreme displeasure. Its ears are back, the shuffling and snorting its doing a clear indication that it wants people to STAY AWAY. There are torn clothes on the ground, a broken belt--and the well-cared-for hilt of a sword showing above the battered scabbard in which the sword itself is sheathed.

Yeah. If you recognize the weapon she always carries, you might recognize the pissed-off expression on the horse's face.

Aniki has not had a good day.]

[No, it's the Queen's damn pony, is what she is thinking.]

[She laughs.] The scent has changed, of course, but it is still you under there, is it not?

How in the world did this happen to you? Ah, hm, I suppose you won't be able to talk right now...

[Mages. Idiot sarden drunk mages. She whinnies a bit and paces forward to huff a breath of air against Amaterasu's neck. The horse in her is nervous of the wolf.]

Hm... [She can smell the nervousness.] Wait here just a moment. [She pops off the plain and returns a few minutes later with a bag of herbs. Idk it's what horses eat in-game :\]

This usually does the trick~ [She lays the bag open on the ground in front of horse!Aniki.]

[Aniki is dubious. She thinks, however, that Amaterasu means they will change her back. So she crunches away, trembles a bit. Her ears flick forward, back. She can't really bring herself to be nervous of Ammy any more. In fact, she takes a few steps closer and nuzzles the wolf's head.]

[Beams!] That's better, isn't it? Horses usually are a bit skittish around me at first~ But, hm, I wonder how we are going to change you back...

[She huffs in Amaterasu's face amicably. {Catch the damned mage and break each bone until he does it.}]

[Ammy smiles and switches to wolf-speak, which will hopefully get through to Aniki, since she's not sure she can understand human speech right now.]

Human. Not horse. Smell of magic. Magic?

[Her head flies back in surprise as the sort of combined mind/sound speech. She bobs her head in affirmation.]

[Ammy tilts her head, considering this.]

Person who did this. See them? Can recognize, can find?

[A low whicker, another headbob.]

[Ammy nods as well.]

Good. Find, fix. Alright, aside from horse?

[She grumbles a bit. {Awkward. Strange shape. Fuzzy thoughts. Damn mages.}]

[She smiles a little.]

New shape. Takes learning, time. Friends, home? Help you?

[{Don't want learning, time.} A snort. {Yes. Trying. Dangerous to stay like this.}]

[A thoughtful headbob.]

Danger, yes. Will fade? Find different mage?

[{No fading. Mage. Strong mage.}]

Then must find. Hunt. Make deal?

[{Hunt, yes. Deal, no.} The feeling of animal communication is starting to make her feel a bit mentally confused. She nuzzles Ammy again.]

[Ammy nuzzles her back and switches back to human language.]

You must find this mage quickly, Aniki. It will be a problem if you turn too completely into a horse.

[She blinks a Amaterasu, not quite comprehending. She's confused by the abrupt switch.]

[She touches her nose to Aniki's.]

Find mage. Find soon.

Find him soon, Aniki.

[{What, goddess? What is?} The name, her name, pings her at least, and the layer of animal-speak over human vocalization helps cut through some of the fuzziness.]

Remember. Remember yourself. Yourself, Aniki. Remember who you are.

[REMEMBAH WHO YOU AAH. YOU ARE MY SON, AND THE ONE TRUE KING-- er. She shakes herself from head to hindquarters, snorting in agitation. Yeah, she's more or less back in her own head. {...what...?}]
