[Martha is cooking! Unfortunately, it's hard to tell what she's cooking, because whatever it was is now a blackened lump in the skillet, and there are flames leaping up. So she's not really cooking as much as she's trying to find a fire extinguisher or a towel, or possibly some water. Or, you know, something to put out the fire.

...which has now spread to the towel she just used to try to smother it, whoops. Fire control is not Martha's forte.]

Martha puts the fire out, watching it for a moment to make sure it's not going to flare up again, then sits down next to Cy] Well, that was a bit of a failure, yeah? [she produces chopped chicken from somewhere - presumably it was going to go in the food] Want some chicken?
