[the TARDIS appears on the Plane after a relatively long absence (thanks a lot, Diva), a small, fuzzy creature in her hands. she sits down on the stars, letting the little thing go, and watches it intensely, mapping out its movement patterns, tracking its vitals as it skitters around, terrified on the Plane. it happened to find its way into her interior and while she waits for her version of Eight, Charley and C'rizz to finish up whatever they're doing, she's decided to take a spell on the Plane and study this new species]

You think I don't know that? These aren't ordinary bacteria, Miss TARDIS. I'm not stupid.

I know that you're not, though. You're perfect.

Not at all. You're perfect because you're a machine. That's all. This human element...It's no good at all. That's why I want to take you apart, after all. To see what you are, in part, but to get rid of...whatever you'd like to think this is.

It'd be a lot of fun!

That's why I have computers, Miss TARDIS. I'm fully aware that the knowledge that you contain is far too much for my brain. Physically, I mean. So when I owned you, I made some new adjustments to my system. I was expecting to, ah, download you, as crude as that sounds.

That would be unfortunate, but honestly, I wouldn't care. You're a machine. You can't die. You can only be broken.

That's the point. I want to learn. I want to be the one to break you, of course.
