[the TARDIS appears on the Plane after a relatively long absence (thanks a lot, Diva), a small, fuzzy creature in her hands. she sits down on the stars, letting the little thing go, and watches it intensely, mapping out its movement patterns, tracking its vitals as it skitters around, terrified on the Plane. it happened to find its way into her interior and while she waits for her version of Eight, Charley and C'rizz to finish up whatever they're doing, she's decided to take a spell on the Plane and study this new species]

[watches the TARDIS then focuses on the creature instead]

What is it?

I do not know. [watches it skitter around some more] It is an unknown species to me, so I am studying it.

{Chuckling a bit} You didn't strike me as a person for "cute" things.

[watches it skitter with her]

Where did you pick it up from?

[stiffens at his voice, but doesn't turn to look at him] I am neither a person nor interested in such things as that.

Then you're studying it like the machine you are. I was trying to be nice.

Ah, Osudbogs. We have stopped here for a short while.

I do not desire any niceties from you.

Oh? [moves towards the animal, and sits down cross legged watching it]

And he - or she - I think it's a he. [reaches out towards it] He found his way inside?

[nods] It happens on occasion. But I have never encountered this species. Do you recognise it?

Surely you can't still be mad that you were my belonging. {Teasing} That's awfully petty of you, Miss TARDIS.

[shakes his head] Not really, no.

[picks it up and looks it over] It seems harmless enough.

[then decides on petting it, because it's cute and that's what you do with cute things]

[stiffens a bit] I was never your belonging.

[watches him, smiling gently, and reaches over to touch the creature] Perhaps. I have not yet analysed its response to negative stimuli, however.

[looks at her, slightly alarmed] Negative stimuli?

[Arthur is curious as always] What is that?

[Have a Yasako!] Oh! It's so cute! [Watches the cute thing for a moment before she looks up at the TARDIS.]

Oh, I'm sorry. Hello. I don't think I've seen you before.

Yes. To see how it reacts when in pain or under stress.

Believe what you wish. I'd still love for you to be mine again. I didn't learn enough about you.

{He sighs, then laughs as pleasantly as if he had told a funny joke} If I had you again, I wouldn't waste my time.

This? It is an unknown species to me.

[watches this new child, momentarily distracted from her experiment, then goes back to watching the creature]

I am unfamiliar with you, as well. Are you here to study the creature as well?

But - [looks at the animal he's holding then back up at the TARDIS] - you don't really need to do that, do you?

You never had me and never will. I have no intention of giving you anything.

How can I fully understand it if I do not?

{Sup, Dietrich is going to try and invade your personal space now to give you those lovely strings back. He's been very bored lately. :'(}
