[Toph is sitting on the Plane and leaning back against Appa, who is curled up and munching some hay. Toph is fiddling with a chunk of what looks like some kind of black metal. She's holding it between her hands and metalbending it into various shapes--a star, a square, a snake, and a miniature Appa. Appa lets out a rumble.]

I know, I'm still working on it. Space earth is weird.

Heh, that's gotta come in real handy. I love earthbending, but I can't tell you the number of times firebending or waterbending would have helped.

Oh, so it's a place. And the Elemental Stars--I'm guessing that has something to do with Psynergy and all that?

Yeah. The Wise One told us that they light the lighthouse beacons. Otherwise, we don't know much. [Reaches into his pocket and withdraws a spherical object, about the size of a golf ball, then takes one of Toph's hands and places it in for her to feel] That's the Mars star. It's the only one we managed to keep safe.

[Takes the Star and turns it over in her hands.] This is the star, huh? ...Wow...it doesn't feel like anything I've ever felt.

It's like a glass bead, but...It's full of Psynergy. I usually let Garet keep it, since his Psynergy is more in line with it.

So it's not earth, huh? It feels like... [Tries to figure it out, because Psynergy does feel a little similar to chi and to bending.]
