001--Er, what?

Er. Right, well....am I trapped in my own head again? Wouldn’t surprise me. This was what I saw last time I was trapped in my own head.
–‘least I think it was. Can’t really remember, since, y’know, my mind was, incidentally, wiped afterwards.
I sorta hope this is what I saw last time, ‘cause it’s beautiful. Sorta reminds me of when the Doctor and I, after a long day of running for our lives, would just sorta....stop and relax and look out the TARDIS doors at the stars and space.

Anyway, getting back on track. Hello? Anyone? ...dunno why I’m asking , if I’m trapped in my own head and all. I really doubt Mickey and Jake would be trapped in my head with me. I bet Mickey’s in his Gran’s house, if he’s in his head.
No clue where Jake would be. I should ask him next time I see him. Might sound a bit odd, though. “Er, so, Jake When you get trapped in your own head, where d’you end up?”

[leans back and looks up at the stars] I should tell you that when you leave this place, you'll be back wherever you previously were. But you can come back here anytime.

[grins] A bit like Dorothy, without all the heel clicking. Just think about going back and you do.

Isn't it? [totally grinning] Still haven't been able to figure out how this was done but it's impressive, I'll give them that.

Oh yeah. Completely fake of course. [rubs the side of his nose] But excellent reproductions.

[laughs] Yep! Let's see... [starts pointing] that right there is the Antennae galaxies, gorgeous and still in mid-collusion with each other. You've got the pleiades over there. They're lovely but ooh, nasty weeds that come from there. Oh! The crab pulsar. I love pulsars. Deadly, really, strong radiation blasts but like a lighthouse in space. Just amazing.

Oooh, that one. That! is the Eagle Nebula. Beautiful, eh? I took you there for that brilliant light show, all the stars forming all at once, remember? Dinner on the platform with that funny little drink server and the toasted nibbles?

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2008-03-04 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
[laughs] Yes! A bit posh but wonderful drinks. Good evening, wasn't it? And no much even went wrong! Besides that one bloke who was trying to harness the flare energy anyway but that's a quiet evening for us, really.

I really like that tux, though. And the trainers. Can't just wear them any old day.

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2008-03-04 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
But you know, I was thinking about it and I think something goes wrong anyway.

You should get it trademarked.

[glances up] Hm? Ohhh, that one. [flops back next to her] That's a globular cluster that goes by the name of Messier of Scorpio. Very intense clusters. Just this great big ball of thousands upon thousands of old stars squeezing together. That one happens to be quite unique. There's a planetary system there orbiting a pulsar star near the center. It's a bit of a tourist trap in the 60th century but even at a distance it's brilliant.

[sniffs and makes a face] Oh yeah, you've got viewing decks and cruise ships that go through and loads of little tourist alley colonies that set up along the way.
