001--Er, what?

Er. Right, well....am I trapped in my own head again? Wouldn’t surprise me. This was what I saw last time I was trapped in my own head.
–‘least I think it was. Can’t really remember, since, y’know, my mind was, incidentally, wiped afterwards.
I sorta hope this is what I saw last time, ‘cause it’s beautiful. Sorta reminds me of when the Doctor and I, after a long day of running for our lives, would just sorta....stop and relax and look out the TARDIS doors at the stars and space.

Anyway, getting back on track. Hello? Anyone? ...dunno why I’m asking , if I’m trapped in my own head and all. I really doubt Mickey and Jake would be trapped in my head with me. I bet Mickey’s in his Gran’s house, if he’s in his head.
No clue where Jake would be. I should ask him next time I see him. Might sound a bit odd, though. “Er, so, Jake When you get trapped in your own head, where d’you end up?”

[wary!TARDIS is wary] You know the Doctor? But I do not know you. How do you know him?

You are no companion I recognise. Perhaps with his most recent regeneration? And I am the TARDIS, girl. I've known him longer than one such as yourself can imagine.

...Well now this definitely proves my theory! This must be a dimensional nexus. Rose Tyler!

That would be him, yes.

[quirks a brow] I did. Did he find himself someone hard of hearing this time?

You're certainly not within your own mind, miss.

His Ninth, I presume. I shall have to ask the Doctor what he was like in that form, then, so I know what to expect.

Would you prefer I appear to you as I am, then? That's easily arranged. I just find projections are easier for humans to communicate with.

It's quite reassuring to know one isn't going mad, yes, however this is a case where I'm not sure the alternative is any better.

[grins] Last time I checked, yeah. Come here, you! [opens arms for hugtiem]

Madness is relative, is it not?

The Doctor has always been amazing, girl, since long before you were born.

[shrugs and returns to her Turlough!projection] It is not something I do often, though I've grown fond of it of late. The Doctor enjoys being able to converse face to face, now that we're beyond our universe.

This place might be real...

[identity profile] twelvemasks.livejournal.com 2008-03-03 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
That's possible, too.

No, I don't believe you can.

Mmm, yes, well. I'm not sure you ever fully appreciated his conversation, as I'm certain most of what he said was well beyond your understanding. But I do quite enjoy speaking with him, yes. And I chose these forms because they are two of his companions with whom I was quite comfortable.

Oh lovely. One of the Doctor's little friends.
