[Vash is sitting at the bar that the one Wolfwood had left there on the plane, with a beer in front of him, something in a brown bottle with a black cat's face on the label. He's not brooding, of course not, he's just... sitting there, staring out into space. Literally.]

I haven't seen him in weeks. I don't know if he went somewhere, or...

[Why is he even talking to himself? It's clearly Miller beer time.]

They are the same person. ...Somehow. Something about regenerations. Alien thing. Time Lord thing. Which explains the two Doctors, too. Should've heard the one go one about 'educating' me in proper manners... [takes down some more of the drink, though he's really quite conservative with his whisky out of habit]

The new Doctor did say something about being an alien... I guess that makes things less confusing. Er, except for the one that looks like you...

I'm hoping he didn't run off and die on me again! I haven't seen him back here on the Plane in a long time now.

[frowns] He might be busy, or... I know time doesn't pass exactly the same way, here and back home. That could be it.

[Sam notices the change, but any comment on flies away when Sam hears 'sheriff,' and he spits out his whisky]

Oh, God. I'm sorry. [cleaning it up] But don't... don't call the Guv a 'sheriff.' He'll get even more delusions of grandeur than he already has.
