[Handy doesn’t appear on the Plane, as much as he is walking the Plane. He hasn’t left since he found Reinette earlier. His clothes are stained with blood, as are his hands. He has been walking aimlessly. Still shaken from what happened.
Finally he stops. Not wanting to walk anymore. His legs are tired. He is tired. He sits down. Relieved to be off his feet. Crossing his legs, fingers tapping the floor, eyes studying the stars below.]

[Pauses and looks at the vial, then turns around facing the mirror, removing the bandage and applying the nanogenes]
There we go. [studies himself in the mirror for a minute, then sighs] Good as new.

[eyes him]
And no, not exactly. Donna was funnier. And ginger. If you ended up ginger on top of everything else, then I'd have definitely hated you.

[turns around and faces the Doctor and eyes him as well]
I can be funny! [He's decided "I'd have definitely hated you" means "I might not actually hate you." Which makes him way too happy, and he's doing his best not to show that] Also, I can't type 100 wpm. 75 on a good day, but super temp, I'm not.

[sighs and crosses his arms again]
Nope. Only one SuperTemp in the universe. Well, my universe. Other universes have their own. Even ones where she gets to stay the Donna I knew.

[thinks]
Agatha Christie!

Is that a new euphemism for an obscenity?

Remember Agatha Christie? She forgot, yeah, but deep down a part of her always remembered, despite everything. Maybe it works the same way for Donna, too.

If she remembers, she will die. Her mind will overload and I couldn't let that happen.

[more curious than worried] Shouldn't I be dead, then? I mean, I know, Time Lord biology, but still I'm mostly human, I think. There has to be some sort of fall out. There's a reason there's never been a human-Time Lord metacrisis.

[sighs]
Rose is good, busy defending the Earth. She's brilliant at it, you'd be proud.

Still working for Torchwood, is she? Jackie giving you a hard time?

[stuffs his hands in his pockets]
You're good to her, right?
no subject
Do you think I wouldn't be?

Did she break up with you?

How does what I just said even segue into that question?
