044: Death and All His Friends

[Hei appears on the Plane in a simple wooden chair, his wrists zip-tied together behind the back. He seems to be unconscious, slumped forward in the chair, hair hanging in his face. He looks half-dead--battered and bruised and dusty. Blood is drying at his hairline and near his nose.]

[A moment goes by, and then he opens his eyes and sits up rather abruptly, shaking his head and sighing in annoyance. It's clear that while he's obviously been in a fight, it's not as bad as it first looked. He looks around the Plane.]

...Mostly according to plan...sort of.

Not particularly. [Wipes the blood from his nose.]

No. It all stopped.

At least that's something. What will you do when you go back?

First I'll need to lure my guard into the room. There are seven Contractors total and five normal humans. I know where Yin is. It shouldn't be difficult to get to her, but getting us both out will be the problem. I'll have to find out where they're all positioned.

I can take on most of them. It'll be enough to just escape from the others.

[Is silent as he nods] Just... [He pauses] Telling you to be careful will be redundant, won't it?

[Grins] Then wait here. [He drops off the plane and after a while he comes back with bowl of ramen.] Here you go!

[SO HAPPY.] Ah, this is from the shop, isn't it? Thank you.

[Dino you just made his freaking MONTH. Finishes in about .00006 seconds and sets the bowl down with a satisfied sigh.]
