044: Death and All His Friends

[Hei appears on the Plane in a simple wooden chair, his wrists zip-tied together behind the back. He seems to be unconscious, slumped forward in the chair, hair hanging in his face. He looks half-dead--battered and bruised and dusty. Blood is drying at his hairline and near his nose.]

[A moment goes by, and then he opens his eyes and sits up rather abruptly, shaking his head and sighing in annoyance. It's clear that while he's obviously been in a fight, it's not as bad as it first looked. He looks around the Plane.]

...Mostly according to plan...sort of.

[Chris watches for a moment, then... quirks a brow. Moving over, he rests his hand very lightly on the zip-tie and phases it from around Hei's wrists. He's sort of worried, but watch as he covers it up with sarcasm!]

You mean this isn't exactly what you'd planned?

I expected this to happen. [Sighs in relief as his hands come unbound, godDAMN does it suck to be tied with zip-ties.]

[Walks over rather mechanically and... rips the back of the chair to pieces, being careful not to hit him with any of the bits.]

[Immediately drops and fetches the first-aid kit, but then kneels behind Hei and works on the zip-ties with the knife Kougaiji gave him. It may be worth noting he's got another shiny bruise on his face since the last time they'd spoken.]

I planned on getting caught, actually. This place is very convenient in that respect.

[Oh shit.] Diva...I'm alright, really. I had to act like I'd been knocked out, otherwise they wouldn't have left me alone.

No problem. [Moves into a better position to be seen.] So... you got caught. What are you going to do now?

...{Hei, this is the look of Diva not being pleased} Then for your sake, I should hope that you know what you're doing because I don't feel obliged to retrieve your corpse if your clever plan "sort of" doesn't "mostly" go according to plan.

I'm in a locked room on a hardwood floor in a building with no power. There is no metal or water in the room and my weapons have been taken away. I need to get them back, or at least get hold of some wire. Yin is a floor beneath me in a similar room. They keep it dry and free of moisture. They haven't let her drink in about twelve hours now.

[It's all said with the clinical tone of someone who is used to doing this.]

Getting through the door won't be a problem. I only need to catch the guard by surprise. They already think I've been beaten senseless.
