[Ianto is sorting through the bottles in the Astral Bar.  Because of the lack of light he's having to sort by taste, but that's not something he's too worried about right now.

When he manages to find a bottle of high quality whiskey he seats himself on one of the barstools, pouring it into a glass he's already found, tossing it back.  He repeats this a few times before pushing his glass away.  He still doesn't feel any better about this.]

((So.  It's Ianto's 25th... his canon DOB is 19th August 1983.  I swear I'm not just being sadistic. .__.))

Have enough trouble sleeping with the light off...[Half mumbles, forcing his body to relax. He can still feel his heart beating just a little too fast]

[He shakes his head, his grip on Ianto tightening ever so slightly] No, leave it off.

[Ianto nuzzles at him, hoping he'll start to relax.] Sure? We don't have to?

[And Jack does, relaxing slightly. He leans into the nuzzle, his thumb stroking softly at the base of Ianto's spine] Yeah, I'm sure.

Alright. [He nods, snuggling up to him and relaxing himself.]

[After a while, Jack's breathing steadies. He's far from sleeping however, and only keeps stroking]

[Ianto doesn't say anything else, but he doesn't have any intention of sleeping until he's sure Jack's really okay.]

.....you should sleep you know, I'm not going to be passing out any time soon.

[He makes a small sound of complaint at that, tightening his hold on Jack momentarily.] I don't particularly want to. I know how I'm going to feel when I wake up.

What, guilty? [He turns his head, pressing a kiss to Ianto's neck] I'll still be here when you wake up Ianto; I'm not going anywhere.

[He snorts in amusement at that, turning his head to meet Jack's lips.] Hungover, Jack. I've drunk a fair amount, you know.

[Moving his lips against Ianto's as he talks] Hungover, right. Forgot you were such a lightweight.

[He gives his lip a sharp nip at that.] I'm not a lightweight.

Not sure. I don't time everything.

Regularly? Seventeen. A few of my friends turned eighteen fairly soon after I had my seventeenth. One of the advantages of being one of the youngest in the year.

You don't suddenly stop getting dehydrated after you've been drinking so many years.
