[Ianto is sorting through the bottles in the Astral Bar.  Because of the lack of light he's having to sort by taste, but that's not something he's too worried about right now.

When he manages to find a bottle of high quality whiskey he seats himself on one of the barstools, pouring it into a glass he's already found, tossing it back.  He repeats this a few times before pushing his glass away.  He still doesn't feel any better about this.]

((So.  It's Ianto's 25th... his canon DOB is 19th August 1983.  I swear I'm not just being sadistic. .__.))

[Burst of colored light from nearly every surface, chiming, twittering, itty-bitty-birds, tumbling over one another in the air and bumping their way out the door. Even after most of them find their way out, the place seems lighter than before.]

[Jumps onto the bar and trots over to him, bumping her head against his arm and then rubbing her face all over him.] My Squanto!

She is the Queen of cats. [Sigh] She is my Queen. She... She is carrying. She is carrying my kittens. I should be by her side.

[He almost points out that cats don't own people, but catches himself and rubs his fingers against her cheek instead.]

[Ryotarou's been all over the place lately, but one place he hasn't been is the bar. So, hello! He comes bearing his flashlight (luckily he's got at least a few spare batteries in the ZeroLiner), but pauses once he's inside.]
