[Somewhere near the forest, Ryotarou appears. In his arms is some sort of wriggling bundle. He sits down near the trees and shifts his grip on the something — it actually looks like some sort of cross between a rat, a cat and a chihuahua, obviously not of earthly origin.]

Shh... Shhh, it's okay. [He pauses to check that no one is in sight, then starts to murmur to the alien... in Cat. He was totally speaking English before, by the way. It's like trying to have a conversation purely using Babelfish, but it's better than nothing.] Like I was saying, when someone says 'Henshin', that's when you change to look like a cat. Then... you won't have to stay with us at Torchwood anymore.

[The cat thing which is now making some weird purring/humming noises at Ryotarou, so Ryotarou pets it lightly and it leans up against him and wraps its tail around his wrist. It's very affectionate.] ... sort of?

Ummm... well...

A few months ago, the Plane started to break. One of the first things that happened because of it was our languages getting mixed up... One of the languages I suddenly knew because of it was... Cat. I guess it stayed, even after things went back to normal.
