[obviously annoyed] Our employee was killed today! First his yelling friend gets killed and now he's killed. Geez!

The dead person? Sam Tyler. [make faces] We're working on him but he had a life contract with us, so obviously we can't just leave him.

[nods] You're welcome. [frown] We were hoping the balance of killers to non-killers was good enough. We'll have to figure out a better balance, maybe.

You need more violent people?! It's good that you can bring back the dead and everything, but how's that going to keep them alive?

Well... [say this slowly, because they don't want to reveal the deeper reason yet] people who die here have a valuable resource. The idea was that it would build over time, though, not so fast. We guess we need more nice people. Or at least stronger nice people.

[just stares at them for a moment before slowly shaking his head] Keeping people here until they die can't possibly be ethical. What happens to the dead people once this experiment of yours is over?

They'll still be alive. We won't kill them or cut off their life support or something. We'll release you all when we're done. [ponder] We thought perhaps giving the option to erase memories of this, too. But that is in the future.

[look at him curiously] ...We see no reason to kill someone after we've brought them back, regardless if they were previously dead.
