[Yuri appears on the Plane, but he's not alone! He's on the ground, one claw weapon blocking the sharpened wooden stake the thing in front of him is trying to kill him with. The monster looks like a young woman who is standing on her hands, but her body is curiously smooth and sexless. She's also covered in sores, her eyes glow red, while her teeth are pointed and covered in dried blood. The pole she's trying to stab Yuri with is held in her feet and has two severed heads impaled on it. Yuri looks around and grins.]

This'll make things easier.

[He slams his foot into the monster's face. Something gives with a crack, and it lets out a shriek as it's thrown backwards, allowing Yuri enough room to jump his feet. The monster rights itself as well, chittering angrily.]

That thing is mean.

[What an accurate assessment! ... most of the time. Ryotarou obediently takes two steps back before he just watches from that distance.]

Can you handle it on your own?

[Glad he doesn't have to worry about the safety of another person for now.]

Yeah. Something like this isn't that tough.

[The monster charges him, trying stab him through the gut. He side steps, and slamms a foot into it's stomach, then rakes it's side with his claws while it's distracted. Unfortunately it recovers before it can do anything else, lunging at him with the pole again. He dodges, but not fast enough to avoid the pole coming close enough to cut his leg. The thing dodges out of his reach when he tries to make another attack, although its struggling to stay upright now, it's side coated with a very think redish-purple blood.]

It's only when they try to swarm you that they get dangerous.

[Ryotarou watches, wincing at the battle damages both sides take, but moreso for Yuri. He wishes he could step in and help, but if Yuri has it under control like he says, helping would hinder more than anything.]

But just one is alright?

[There's a moment of horror/shock, but then she releases the water from her pouch and slashes it at the... thing in sweeping arc designed to knock it away.]

[The monster goes tumbling backwards. Yuri jumps to his feet and look over at Katara in surprise.]

Thanks. You think you can deal with something like that?

[Meanwhile the monsters has righted itself, and gives a shriek as it charges. Yuri grumbles and bats away the pole, lunging forward to sink his claws into the monsters body. It shrieks and he gives it a kick to the face as he pulls his claws free.]

I'd better be able to. [Whips in a circle and sends her water snapping at the thing in a thin blade of ice, aiming for its arms.]

[The monster staggers and collapses, thrashing until Yuri walks over and gives it a blow to it's skull with his claw. It collapses, starting to fade away into red mist. Seriously these monster are really weak, even in-game.]

[Okay that? She is SURE that is a monster. And it's trying to hurt someone! Are you watching, Chris? Good Samaritan mode is go! Out comes the P90 from her violin case and she opens fire at the thing's torso.]

[Those bullets were unexpected, but Yuri isn't complianing since they jerk the monster enough for the pole to stop trying to stab him. He kicks at one of the monsters arms,causing it to fall, then quickly pushes away and jumps to his feet. He looks over and...girl. Little girl with a gun. But he isn't one to quibble over details right now.]

[Yeah, just watching. She's learned by now that rushing in headfirst when you've got no clue what's going on is generally a bad idea.]

[Doesn't even notice her as he slams his foot into the monster's face, driving it back long enough for him to jump to his feet and fall back into a fighting stance. It staggers and kisses, it's face blood as it starts to circle Yuri.]

[More to herself than anything] Oh, hell. Why not. [Jolyne moves a few steps closer, a humanoid shape (http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/pp341/lynxian/00.jpg) appearing behind her, before said humanoid unleashes a barrage of punches on the preoccupied monster.]

[Has a brief moment of 'WTF is that!?' but he fights alongside an old man who uses a puppet as a weapon and a little girl who summons monsters from photographs so he quickly recovers. The monster collapses, then quickly falls prey to a last kick from it. He turns to face her as the monster starts to fade away turning into red mist.]

Welcome. [She's not sure if that hesitation she's sensing is because he *could* see Stone Free, or because he *couldn't* and now is wondering what the hell just punched that monster thing.] ...so, just what was that?

[Manages to sweep the pole away from his and he lands a kick to the monster's arm that causes it to stagger. He's so used to fighting along side a white wolf, it doesn't even seem odd to him.]

[Ammy nods to Yuri, then uses her brush to Power Slash the monster's pole right in half.]

[That makes the monster pause, confused for a split second. It gives Yuri enough time to dart in and give it a couple of rakes with his claws. He is forced to jump back as it slashes him with the sharp claws on it's hands. It staggers, bloody and weaponless now.]
