[Everyone missed the Doctor, right? Of course. But today is a bit different.

You see, he's talking to a plant. The plant is on a metal, rounded picnic table and he brought a tree that appears to be going through autumn and an area of grass with it from whatever planet he was on. But the important part is that he's sitting at the table with a sandwich, eating it and talking to this plant]

You know, you really are brilliant. ...No, really! I mean that. Sane, nice, loves Elvis. Also, you're not violent. You have no idea what a rarity that is these days.

[he shakes his head with a sigh and keeps munching on his sandwich and talking to the plant]

I've heard of venus flytraps biting at people, but never growling. You must have some pretty weird plants back home.

Oh, well, I do have the unfair advantage of traveling all over the universe. I find all sorts of plants.

Oh yeah. There was another guy around here who said something about other planets, too. I guess you're from the same world?

Quite possibly though plenty of worlds can visit each other. I'm a bit homeless, really. Just traveling for the adventure and fun.
