[ She has her hands out in front of her, cupped, and her eyes are closed. She's concentrating very deeply, if the way her brow is knitting is any indication. Eventually she opens her eyes, and stares, disbelieving, at her empty hands. She then starts pacing, kneading her hands and looking worried. ]

What? Can magic just disappear like that?

It doesn't, usually... If Mana was disappearing again, we'd all feel it in my world. It looks like it's just me.

..Could anything in your world block your magic like that? Have you ever even heard of something like this happening?

[ She shakes her head. ] Not unless mana itself was waning, and that would impact everyone.

So it only effects you. This has to have something to do with the Twins.

[Gives her hands a small squeeze] Hopefully it won't last to long then. Think you can hold out until it does?

I think so. It's just that it's... Well, it's scary. Not having a way to defend myself.

[Tries to imagine what it would be like suddenly loose his ability to use a whip or his ring. It is not a pleasant thought.] Being defenseless is hard, but it should only be a for a little while. Until you get your magic back...I'll be here for you if you need me.
