[And in daze-o-vision, Cy may perhaps look like her Wild Road self sitting on his lap. Well, a small version of Wild Road Cy, though a shaggier, stockier, wilder version.] Cats care not for your version of ethics.

You sh'be smaller. [he may've lost a few vowels and consonants there]

I am many things. [Puts her paws against his chest.] Lay down, Nancylocks, there's a good boy.

[manages to give her a look, and? wraps one of his arms around her as he lies down. Because hey, he doesn't have a pillow]

[D'AWWW. Er. Ahem. They're now standing on a cliff (http://www.cavinguk.co.uk/holidays/Cornwall2006/boscastle/normal/TintagelHeadRocks.jpg) overlooking the sea, backed by scrubland (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cornwall/content/images/2007/01/19/tintagel_castle_vp_cable_470x350.jpg) and the ruins (http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/upload/img_400/sw_tintagel_01.jpg) of a castle untouched by anything remotely savanna-like. Cy is as tall at the shoulder as Sam, wrapped in her Wild Road form, saber teeth peeking out from under her lips.]

[Streeeetch] This is Tintagel! Not Random.

Riiight.

[This would be massive!Cy putting resting her chin on your head, Sam.] I took Shan on the Roads. I don't think you'd like that very much.

I tend to get into accidents, yeah.

[this is slightly weird, yes]

[Cy is slightly weird, Sam. You should be used to this by now.]

[She bumps her head against his stomach and then wraps a massive paw around his waist and licks the side of his head.] I can show you good whispers here.

Woah woah woah, paws and tongue off. I don't think I'm ready for that development in our relationship.

[Lets go and starts off down the hill toward the ruins.] You've got a dirty mind, Nancylocks.

I'll blame Gene.

[follows her, keeping relative balance, brain wondering about, you know, the crazy weird dream]

[She stops, overlooking a dip where three kittens the color of rose gold stagger clumsily around, attacking each other and trying to attack the large Burmilla sprawled on its side in their midst. He's a handsome cat, snowy silver, slightly scarred on the right side of his face. His ear on that side is a tatter. The four cats seem somehow distant, even though they're not more than five feet away, and none of them notice the massive predator or the human following her. Cy lets out a rumbling purr.]

That's my Ace, and Odin and Isis and Leo.

[Sam, again, realises he should be more weirded out by giant!Cy than he is]

But not really, because this is a dream. Is that why they can't see us?

Them's the breaks. [Massive kitty huff.] I want you to meet Ace. You'd like him.

I like what I see of him.

[She takes a step forward and the landscape shifts, becoming a slow-motion vision of Tintagel Head wrapped in an unnatural storm, blue lightning flickering in a constant net over the sky.

At the edge of the cliffs stands a twelve-foot monster that isn't human, definitely not feline; lumbering and grotesque, gripping the mummified forearm of a panther. It's draped in the skin of a jungle cat and where human and cat skin meet, flesh ruptures and runs. Its head its a shifting mass that seems feline and human at once; eyes replaced my mechanisms archaic in nature, wires running like seams through its skin.

Between the monster and themselves stands a fifteen-foot snow cat with eyes like broken ice. The fur down its back is the color of pewter, melting into white on its belly. Great splashed stripes of gray band its forelegs; even in a dream its roar makes the ground shake.

And then the sight of the Alchemist and the snow cat is gone. Tag--Ace--stretches and rolls over in the sun; one of the kittens throws itself onto his stomach and he kicks it lazily away.]

He's Quicksilver. [She moves like she wants to nuzzle him, but stops just short of doing so.] He's Hearts on Fire. The highway cat picked him. He made a good choice, huh?

Not an expert in this sort of thing, but I'd think so, yeah.

[Paces back over to him, the landscape seeming to warp again until they're standing in a large building, almost like a warehouse, with a fish tank standing in the middle. It's massive, housing a number of small sharks and rays among other things.] This is my place now.

It's... different.

[Flops and rolls onto her back.] You can get to Egypt through there. [Apparently referring to the fish tank]
