{Dietrich is, as always, because he never does anything interesting (directly) at home, at his desk. He leans back in his chair with a sigh, peeling off the pair of very long and very blood stained surgical gloves and tossing them to the side. He was working quite diligently on making his Autojagers today! Which, really, is a sick thing to work on, but.}

If only it were easier to do. Humans don't stand up to the stress, so I have to use Methuselah, but even then it's so messy. Brainwashing and drugs don't affect them at all, so the only option left is to remove the front of the brain. At least that way there's no pain or exhaustion in them, but the lack of any semblance of intelligence is a disadvantage in the long run. I really don't understand why I'm always the one that has to prepare the corpses, since it's something even an idiot could do if you just told them what to do.

{Le sigh~} It's really tiring.

[Hi! Ammy will be Power Slashing your desk in half now, Dietrich~]

[identity profile] shinypaws.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Of course.

[Draws a figure-eight in the air and everything near Dietrich is engulfed in flame.]

[eyebrow]

You could neutralise it temporarily, perhaps?

[identity profile] miseardae.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you should halt the experiments until you do?

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
...are you making cyborgs?

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
It might work better on kids. That's why they use us, I guess--it works better on younger people.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[Really? Woah. I didn't know that could happen.] Um. Nothing, really. Just that Signore Jean says that's why they use kids instead of adults for cyborgs--adults don't work as well.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yes, yes it is. She blushes and looks down.] Thank you sir. Um. Yes I am.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
A shame? [She thinks about the rest of it for a minute.] I suppose that's true. You only do it with bodies? All the cyborgs I know are alive. I guess, is that what you meant when you said it's not really the same?

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
It's fine, though! I'm not the only one. And Signore Jose takes good care of me.

...like zombies?

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[She is charmed and likewise polite.] Nice to meet you, Signore Lohengrin. I'm Henrietta. Um. That would be interesting, I think.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
[Oh translations. She touches it gently, wide-eyed.] But they seem like they'd be very good at fighting.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow.. I'm glad Signore Jean doesn't know about these. He wouldn't need us any more.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Um. Not really. He's sort of in charge of the rest of the fratello, but he didn't make us, and Signore Jose is in charge of me.

[identity profile] fireintothesky.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Um. I think you would say it means, 'sibling' or 'brother'? A fratello is a cyborg and their handler. Signore Jean is in charge of everybody. He's Rico's fratello.

[Blink] I... probably shouldn't tell you any more.
