[the Master is on the plane, but in a generally un-Masterly fashion. you know, usually he's standing and being egotistical, something like that. instead, he is generally sprawled out on the 'floor', and is idly biting at a bone. please do not mention this to him later, it is highly embarrassing

otherwise, yes. the Master is currently elsewhere, leave a message at the beep. ...if there was one, anyway]

[And the lightning lances downward, right at the Master.]

[and he's hit - though aside from mussing his hair and setting him hissing, spitting, and yowling, he's in one piece; and then he lobs the bone at Ammy's head]

[Ammy leaps aside to avoid the bone.] Immune to electricity...and to changes in time, it seems.

Then let's try fire. [She draws a figure 8 in the air, which then becomes an enormous blast of fire, right near the Master.]

[the Master leaps away and teleports, appearing right next to Ammy and attempting to ram into her to pin her down]

[And Ammy is startled enough that she doesn't move fast enough to avoid being hit.]

[he doesn't hesitate, because as soon as he hits, he's biting and lashing out like a frenzied cat, and trying, in the process, to rip off one of his gloves so as to claw at Ammy as well]

[The Master gets several good bites and slashes in before Ammy uppercuts him with her mirror.]

[the Master is hit and recoils, not flung but regaining his space. he bares his fangs and hisses again, remaining crouched and ready to teleport or spring again]

[Ammy decides to resort to her trusty Power Slash, right across the Master's middle.]

[he yowls again as he's hit, clothes rent and with a splash of blood. his eyes, oh, his eyes are the almost pitch black of a predator, an animal. with another bright flash of light, he teleports; though this time, a scant foot or so above Ammy, so as to try and force her to the 'floor']

[Ammy is ready for it this time. She Mist Warps out of the way, reappearing a few yards away. As soon as the Master is back on the ground she lets her mirror fly.]

[the Master lands and recovers quickly; giving him barely enough time to register the assault and leap out of the way - though it slashes through one of his arms. the heat managed to partially cauterise the wound, but he's bleeding regardless

he bares his fangs and things time charges head on]

[Amaterasu doesn't even wait for her mirror to return; she runs in a wide arc around him, forcing him to turn. She lets him get within only a few feet before she's leaping into the air and flipping over him, landing just behind him. She takes the opportunity to Power Slash at his unprotected back.]

[But then, just like that, weakness hits her--her weapon and red markings disappear. Her ink has run out. She has no choice but to take off running, hoping to avoid him until her ink returns--though she's a lot slower now than she was.]

[if there had been any chances of him losing interest, they disappear as soon as Ammy begins to run from him. in his mind, that is when it switches from fighting for survival or our of rivalry and turns into the hunt

so without hesitation, and despite the pain and the blood, he turns and gives chase, grinning madly. all he has to do is cut the distance between them...

which he does with a brilliant flash of light as he teleports while dashing after her - he'll still be some feet behind her, but he's closer now]

[Amaterasu grits her teeth and tries to push herself faster, but she's falling closer and closer to the Master. With no choice left, she drops from the Plane, reappearing a moment later several yards away from him and running in the opposite direction.]

[the Master rages as she disappears, but catches the scent again - and he skids to a stop to look for her. behind him. he doesn't bother to run, he just teleports some distance in front of her and then runs at her

he is, after all, an efficient hunter and never allows his prey to escape]

[Ammy can feel her ink returning to her, but it's not quite back yet. She's also starting to tire, and is slowing. She drops again and then reappears, behind the Master but closer to them than she intended.]

[he's getting very aggitated with her disappearing, but whenever she returns, he picks up on the scent again

so he whirls and hisses at her before leaping at her]

[And she doesn't have the time or energy to dodge. He hits her hard and she lets out a yelp as they both go down in a tangle.]

[as soon as he has her down, he's again biting and clawing like a wild animal]

[She twists around so that she can bite and claw right back at him, snarling like the furious wolf she is. But the Master is better at this than she is since, in many ways, he's more of an animal, and Amaterasu is getting pretty badly bloodied.]

[But then, with a rush of power, her ink comes back. She grins wickedly and hits the Master with a powerful blast of wind.]

[the wind blasts him away from her, and he tumbles across the floor before lumbering up. he's bleeding and sore, clothes torn and bitten and generally a mess. the Master pants and bears his fangs, hissing and spitting in warning]

[Ammy's a mess at this point as well, bleeding and panting. Using so much ink is taking a lot out of her, moreso than it normally would, and she can't help but remember the fight with the Spider Queen.]

[But the Master hasn't run yet, and as long as he is in her sights, she has a duty to fulfill. So she steels herself, lowers her head and snarls right back at him. Then she charges forward and lets her mirror fly.]

[the Master still has his wits about him, despite the loss of blood. if he were in his right mind, he would have fled; but instinct placed by the work of the virus tells him to fight, to kill, and he obeys

so when Ammy charges and throws the mirror, he drops down, just low enough for it to go over him, and he immediately rises. but he doesn't move (because he plans on her hitting him so he might try to rip out her throat); so depending on things, he'll either be hit with Ammy or with the mirror as it returns back to her]

[Amaterasu has the good sense to know what he's trying to do, but her momentum means she won't be able to stop in time--so she Mist Warps behind the Master, which means of course that her mirror arcs around back to her, instead of hitting the Master.]

[She whirls and decides to just Power Slash him, since that saves ink and still does quite a bit of damage.]
