[the Master is on the plane, but in a generally un-Masterly fashion. you know, usually he's standing and being egotistical, something like that. instead, he is generally sprawled out on the 'floor', and is idly biting at a bone. please do not mention this to him later, it is highly embarrassing

otherwise, yes. the Master is currently elsewhere, leave a message at the beep. ...if there was one, anyway]

Mee-ow.

[the Master raises a brow and tilts his head for a moment before deciding just to watch Cy]

[blinks and leans over him] Hullo?

[Sidles closer, her tail up.] Baa baa black sheep give-a-dog-a-bone?

[the Master is currently staring at you, Doctor. :| then he just growls to make some unknown point]

No.

[then he proceeds to crack the bone open and flick a piece Cy's way]

[Leaps back from the bone, then approaches the fragment cautiously, dabbing at it with one paw.]

What's got your cheese in a grater, Meow Mix?

[looking down at the Master; in a curious tone] Enjoying yourself, are you?

[watch as the Master purposefully ignores that question to make sure he really has broken the bone completely. this is very important business]

[that point is confusing] What are you doing?

...Oh, Self. I love you, but this is embarassing. Come on. Remember who you are. You are my son, and the one true king. ...no, that's probably not helping detract from the virus's effects.

[he chuckles a bit before proceeding to purr. he also is very relaxed and has no intention of getting up unless someone makes him]

[wondering if she ought to scratch behind his ears or rub his stomach] All...right, then.

[the Master, thankfully, can recognise Self forever and ever ... to some degree anyway, and with a slightly displeased chuff, at least sits up, then after a long deliberation, offers the bone to him. he will get a new one later]

[now he frowns at you because really, this should be obvious. and yes he understands you, Doctor. and to illustrate what he's doing, he cracks the bone. then growls. ...potentially that is a threat. maybe. no one knows]

[Watch as Cy once again demonstrates her extreme dislike for being ignored. She runs in, smacks the bone and retreats, kicking up her heels like a kitten just learning to run.]

[he nods in response to her, and continues going about his business as is]

[the Master swipes a hand at Cy as she makes her retreat, trying to trip her up a bit]

[He just nods a little. 'Cat' is not one of his best languages] Right...feeling a little catty today, are you?

[And he does! Quite spectacularly. Or at least she manages to make it look spectacular, flailing tail over nose to the ground.]

[you should clearly go learn cat, Doctor. or get virus-y so you can converse with the Master when he's like this. instead, you get a bit of a nod]

[The Master looks at the bone for a moment, then takes it and sets it aside, grimacing slightly] Ta, self, but what I'd really like is a little less cat and a little more Time Lord. Temporal mechanics and that sort of thing. We are much better at mechanics, after all.

[please note, this amuses the Master enough so that he's purring. he even sets aside the bone for now, and gestures for Cy to come over to him instead of stay over there]

[The Doctor likes not being a cat, though. But he is curious, since usually he gets swatted at for his ~~lame~~ brilliant puns] Just enjoying your bone?

[the Master frowns, then growls in annoyance]
