[the Master appears on the plane with his makeshift 'throne', the one made of bones, skulls, and fur. he looks completely relaxed and at ease right now

then he sighs dramatically]

Sometimes, power can be utterly boring.

I already have. As I said, 'complete and utter power'.

Even over all those here? I should think your power lacking in this place.

I don't have complete control here yet... [he pauses] I'm surprised. No insults?

A pity. [tilts her head] Should there be, Master?

'A pity'? [he's suspicious, and he rises from the throne] Coming from you? Usually. 'Beast', 'creature'...

[doesn't move, just watching him] I have since realised the error of my ways. I was wrong to address you so.

Really. [he circles her, trying to discern if she's attempting to be clever and trick him into something]

[watches him] Would I have any reason to lie?

Yes, you would.

And yet I am not. Do you require a show of faith for me to prove my sincerity?

[the Master chuckles a bit, then sits back in his throne] I do.

[still completely nonchalant] Then what would you require?

[he considers for some time] First, on your knees.

Is that all? [does so, watching him expressionlessly, though her eyes spark with something beyond fury]

Of course not. [he's just feeding his ego right now] Though you'd never kneel before me normally...

No, I would not. But I am kneeling now, Master. What more proof do you require?

Up. [he grins wickedly] Kneeling isn't concrete proof.

Very well. [stands, giving him a funny look] Is all of this really necessary, Master?

[oh, he's liking this] Just chalk it up to paranoia, hm?

[frowns] I suppose. Very well. What else would you have me do?

[and he's back on his feet, pleased] You're hasty to prove yourself. [he purrs] There is one thing I am most certain that you would never do. Especially with me.

I have been wrong about you for too long, Master. [her demeanour is completely calm but her eyes are screaming murder] Should I not work to rectify the situation?

[and he's focusing only on the demeanour, ignoring that look behind her stare] You should. [he doesn't hesitate now, he grabs one of her wrists and pulls her close] Perhaps I ought to give you ample opportunity to do so, instead of just playing with you.

[is a little startled by his advance and tries to pull her wrist away, but there's no fear or hatred in the action, as there would have been before] I've nowhere to go, if that is what you are implying. And I would rather not face the Doctor again any time soon. You will keep him from me?
