Not much one can do on an underdeveloped planet where there is no true form of government and the most excitement one can come to expect is one of the bloody creatures killing another. Oh, I can kill some of those under me, but that's rather pointless.

There are, but the creatures here tend to rely upon their claws instead of actual weapons. I doubt they'd understand carving, or even have the attention spans for it.
