[have Sam as the happiest he has ever been. Ever. Why is he so happy? That would be because there is a mobile phone in his hand. That's right, a mobile phone, from 2006]

I was - 1973 - but 2006! The textile factory, it's - it just turns into 2006. I was - my mobile! I have my mobile back! [isn't cuddling the mobile phone. Really!] And my PC and satellite television and it's all there and the rest of Manchester is '73 but there's that little, little... pocket of 2006...

Oh, uh, Fumie? You left your glasses at my flat.

[now, back to not!cuddling the mobile phone]

[he growls]

It isn't the same. Could you stay in this place forever?

[identity profile] demnify.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
As do I, Mr. Tyler. The planet I'm on is not my home one, you understand. There are so many ones I'd rather be on...

[instantly calming himself]

Now, Mr. Tyler, is that any attitude to have? I'm being relatively polite - though I am annoyed with my situation. I'm certain you would be too, if you had been, more or less, forcibly drawn out of 'retirement'.

That is a very foolish choice, Mr. Tyler. If there is one type of person you want to stay on the good side of, it is murderers. Particularly if they know whom you care about.

I like manners.

[he laughs a bit, simply amused]

Now, now. I've killed people for less.

[identity profile] demnify.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Childish, rooted in insanity, does it matter?

I'm still very capable of killing every person you've communicated with in the past few days if you don't shape up.

[he smiles pleasantly, fully showing his fangs]

Because, Mr. Tyler, you'd learn nothing from it. You'd have a sense that in your death, you've spared your friends and that has made it worth while.

[he steps forward]

Am I right?

[identity profile] demnify.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[he reaches out for a moment - he seems to lack the idea of personal space - to slide a gloved hand along Sam's shoulder]

If it is needed. Of course, as I said, the only way to do that would be to kill your little friends until you beg for me to stop. Perhaps I could kill Mr. Hunt in front of you. You seemed rather distressed the first time he met his end.

[identity profile] demnify.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[and this is the smile of that would be found on, perhaps, a pet owner when their new dog has learned a trick]

Very good, Mr. Tyler. You'll keep this up, yes? I'd hate having to kill Mr. Hunt again. He doesn't taste all that well.

Do be careful, Mr. Tyler...

[and he drops out of the Astral Plane before anything can be said back]
