[It's a Firo! Looking positively blown away with delight at something. He's dressed up in a dark suit and overcoat with a brand new black hat, which he is currently hanging onto, and his hair is sticking up in about ten different directions.]

They finished it! And it's--damn, it's keen. Can see forever from up there! The whole city's gone wild. It's... It's... something!

[Laughs] It looks like....a birds nest.

[Tries to run a hand through it and gets snagged on a tangle.] Well. It was really windy!

[Totally not laughing at you as he digs in his pocket and comes up with a comb.] It must have been [Hands the comb to you Firo]

[Yank tug stick. And now there is a comb stuck in his hair. -.- ]

[Dino is laughing his head off at you now.]

Hey! [Starts yanking at the comb some more.]

[Still laughing. Ignore the fact that there's an edge to it. No, he isn't worried about Hei, not at all..]

[Stops tugging. Sorry, but he's an observant guy.] Dino?

Hmm? [He thinks he's hiding things fairly well]

You look joed. What's the story? [Well, mafia reads mafia well, I guess?]

[Hasn't heard the slang before, but he has a pretty good idea of what he means] Am I being that obvious?

[Silent for a while] Do you know someone named H.. [catches himself]..Li?

I know someone named Li. I didn't know he called himself something else.

[Crap...] I told him I wouldn't say anything about it.

Have you seen what's been happening to him lately?

[Shrug.]

[And then a bit more grimly,] Yeah, I've seen a bit.

[Appreciates not being pressed for information]

Then you know his reality changed? And that there isn't a thing we can do about it.

That Hell's Gate place. He mentioned it.

[Nods] He can't get out, and he said people don't usually survive long in there.

Survive?! All he told me was that the place causes hallucinations!

He doesn't like people to worry about him.

From what he says the Gate either drives people insane or kills them. He's trying to play it down, but I don't think that's the kind of thing you should be hoping people ignore.

[Remembers the first few nights after he ate Szilard and suppresses a shiver.] And we can't do anything, you said.

Not unless you know how to affect someone's reality. I told him to come to the Plane and rest but I'm not sure how effective that will be.

[Mostly to himself] Not very, if what I saw was anything to judge.

I don't think he's going to be able to hold out much longer. [Looks away] I'm not used to being helpless.

[Looks down.] Me either.
