[It's a Firo! Looking positively blown away with delight at something. He's dressed up in a dark suit and overcoat with a brand new black hat, which he is currently hanging onto, and his hair is sticking up in about ten different directions.]

They finished it! And it's--damn, it's keen. Can see forever from up there! The whole city's gone wild. It's... It's... something!

Of course I am! They finished it! [Weee, dizzy with happiness. Doesn't really register that Dino probably doesn't know what he's talking about.]

[Hei looks rather epically frazzled, but he manages a bit of a smile.]

Finished what?

[Someone is too elated to notice at the moment.] Whatta you mean what--I mean I suppose you wouldn't know, would you, but it's done! The Empire State Building!

[Bit more of a smile this time.]

Tallest building in the world then, right?

Yup! It's--then?

[Shrugs.] It might still be the tallest. I don't really know.

[Vision is swimming but he's not going to let on.]

Well, it is now, and they finished it in a year! Well, a year and a month, or a month and a half, I think, but it's done, and the whole city is having a clam-bake! It's dizzy!

[And suddenly Firo is all gray and flickering like a black and white movie and his voice has a really weird, metallic echo to it. Hei's smile might or might not be a bit nervous-looking.]

Sounds like a lot of fun.

[That expression? Hard to miss, sorry Hei.] Li? What's wrong?

[Absently,] It's okay. It'll go away in a minute.

[Ohgod does that sound familiar.] What will? And don't lie, all right?

I'm trapped inside Hell's Gate. It causes hallucinations. [And now Bai is next to Firo and is also in black and white. Hei tries very, very, very hard to ignore her. Unsuccessfully.]

Something new in your city, Firo?

[Hahahaseeingthingsshit. Firo gulps a little. He's not going to be particularly comforting, sorry Hei.] Damn. [Imagines what it would be like to be stuck in Hell's Gate with all the stuff in his head. D: ]

[Grabs her in a hug and swings her around.] You know that big building I showed you? The Empire State Building? Well it's done! Finished! I got to go up in it today!

[ Weeee getting swung around. Angela giggles and gives Firo a squeeze. ] Really? Did you get to go to the top of it?

Almost! Woulda climbed that thing straight to the top if I could! There were so many people, and what you could see from up there--! It was like flying!

[That's alright, Hei doesn't like being comforted, really. He's trying to control his breathing right now. Also unsuccessfully.]

[Ohgodno. Noooo no, not now. Whatever gets brought up by that sentence is not going to be pleasant. He's having the rising thump of a headache, but he tries to focus on Hei. He wishes Ennis were around.]
