[the Master appears on the Astral Plane, purring incredibly loudly]

Well, isn't it nice that all that business is over? I've been a bit busy dealing with the aftermath since then - ahhh, no matter. No one wants to hear about that, do they?

Lapis, Lazuli? I must regretfully decline any further doses of what you gave me - however beneficial, I rather like keeping my temper in control.

Now. The rest of you lot... I must pardon my previous behaviour - if I've growled, snarled, or generally seemed less than mannerly... well. I regretfully state that I was under a bit of a modification that made me significantly more hostile.

[dropping everything to whispers which happen to work as a filter]

See. Someone dislikes both of you! And they want us to get back at you. But we like fair deals and want to offer you guys a chance to stop it~

[to the twins]

Ignore him for now, I doubt he knows how to handle these sorts of things properly.

[grin] It's okay~ We won't reveal the person or the things they wanted us to do to you both but suffice to say you wouldn't like it! Unless you guys can think of a deal, we'll have to go through with it [sad nods]

So we're supposed to make a decision without knowing any of the details, just like that? And trust you? [scoffs] That's bullshit and you know it. Give me the damn bastard's name and I'll solve this problem for you. And I sure as hell don't need his help.

[he nods a bit]

I must agree with you on that, Mr. Tyler. I'd rather not like to overestimate and offer too much, and underestimate and offer too little.

[to Gene, generally ignoring his demeanor. :D]

Mutual enemy of ours. Obviously wants something bad to happen to us. Who have you angered, other than me?

[tilt their heads] But look at it from our perspective. If we tell you who and what, then both deals could fall through.

Why should we give a damn about your deals? Especially if they're designed to hurt us, you bleedin' gits?

[to the Master] I don't piss people off, you sorry sop. They're just too bloody sensitive and need to wake up and see the world for what it is. 's not my fault they're all ponce bastards. [but he shrugs] The only other bloke I can think of who thought he could best me was that little shit kid with those Goddamned ice skates for shoes.

[to the twins] You could always tell us what sort of things you'd like in return, should we decide to deal.

[to Gene, quietly] The one with the eyepatch, I expect? He's gotten on my nerves as well. I've been planning on hunting him down and killing him for his insolence. I believe that is who may have requested whatever it is.

[back to twins] I believe we've figured it out regardless - the person, at least?

[smile lazily] We will confirm or deny nothing. However, if you feel confident in the facts you think up, then you should consider working out a deal as well.

[to the Master] Yeah, that's the one. Little bastard won't leave me the hell alone. One of these days I'm gonna kick his damned teeth in.

[to the Twins] If we know who the bloke is, why should we bother dealing with you? I'm not Tyler -- don't expect me to be indebted to you lousy bastards.

[to Gene moar] As I said, I plan on killing him. Common enemies make for temporary allies.

[twins :|] Perhaps you've been ignoring me. I have been, on my part, prompting for what you would require on our end for a bargain, and yet you've not offered even the slightest suggestion. For all we know, he could have done something where all our clothes turn pink for a day - which could be simply avoided by not going out. Alternatively, he could have done something in which we will both find ourselves in extreme pain. Thus, I am prompting for a general idea of what you both would like in return. I'll not be scammed nor tricked into giving more than is required.

[whisper to each other!] Well...generally, we like people working for us and letting us test things on them. Obviously~ we're already partly doing that to you both but part of the main experiment allows for as much freedom as possible.

[to the Master] I can agree to that.

[to the Twins] And what the bloody hell makes you think I'd agree to letting you experiment on me, you sodding ninnies? I'm Gene Hunt, DCI of A-Division and I don't bloody well work for you, got that?

[Gene] Good. Working together for the time being, then.

[Twins] I'm afraid I don't work for anyone either, and depending on the types of experiments - positive or negative, I may have to decline as well.

The experiments would usually have positive aims, though we wouldn't be able to say if the aims are reached until the experiment is done. As you are aware, we haven't worked out most side-effects~

[eye them both] Would you refuse, then?

I would. [crosses his arms, glaring at them both] I'm not some puppet for you to experiment on. 's bad enough you brought me back after this here div killed me. I don't need anymore of your 'favours.'

Again, for me, it would depend on what, exactly, was being done. Do pardon me for being the sort that wants all the information before signing. I'm that one fellow who always reads the fine print, and currently it seems as if there is a good deal of it that you are trying to get me to skim over.
