2nd Heart - A Moment's Rest
[And here comes Jackie, popping into the Plane and, for a moment, looking rather flustered and perhaps even a little frustrated. In his right hand is a steel fold up chair, and his left hand is just idly twitching by it's own accord. He takes a few steps forward and opens the chair up with a snap, then promptly drops it in front of him. After staring at it for a moment, he sits down and leans forward, taking one long deep breath. Taking a few and holding it in, he leans back and tilts his head upwards, staring straight up and breathes out slowly.]
Better. Much better.
Better. Much better.

Makes me wonder then just why the Hell I'm here.

The world...any world, needs a villain. It needs a person you can point at and call evil. In that way, they're even more important than the hero. But even villains are people.
Well, most of the time, at least.

In most cases, I'd say so. But no. The real villains, the ones that the world should fear, the ones that the world needs...they know exactly what they are.

Live a life of normality. People who live it give it a pretty bad review. But the moment that normality disappears, they miss it more than anything and everything.
Wouldn't mind a normal life. But I know it's not for me.

That's why this place is good. People here don't call me a monster, try and kill me, or, well, use me. The people here are kind and caring, even if...Well, even with some of them it's not so apparent at first.

Then I guess it really is unfair to call this place an experiment.

Rude person? Other than the esteemed Mr. Hunt, I assume?
no subject
{Sniffs disdainfully} The TARDIS. Gene may be rude, but that piece of garbage has no place here and isn't able to say a single good thing. Why, the first time we met, she called me a filthy, mindless, beast! A monster! Awful.

...The...[Remembers his brief conversation with it] "person" here with the very mechanical-like thinking? She does seem to be rather blunt. Doesn't seem to have a whole lot of time for tact or manners either.
no subject
Oh yes, but it has mechanical-like thinking because it's a machine. A ship. But it goes beyond having tact or manners and just being an absolutely rude and complete annoyance. She even hit me! Several times now, actually.
no subject
So you've got a mechanical pest with no manners and a sharp tongue that likes to take swings. A real charmer, that one.

{Hmphs again} Absolutely dreadful. I would advise staying away from it. It's better for your health, really. She makes me angry every time we talk.
no subject
Keep away from the rude machine that has a habit of snapping to violence. Duly noted.

{Smiles because Jackie is on her side and not the TARDIS's and this is a good thing ♥} Good, good~ Ah, and people here tend to warn about the Masters, but really, I don't have a problem with either one of them.
no subject
[Ah, the Masters. A topic he is curious on] They seemed to have been popular people to warn me about. Any particular reason why they would warn people?
no subject
Well...They've killed people here. They killed Sam and Gene.
But I beat them, so.Otherwise, I don't really know. When I've talked with him, it's been very pleasant. I think he's...well...Since you kind of mentioned it, more like us, maybe? He's not so horrible as people seem to imply.no subject
So. Kill a person, get a bad rap. [Takes a moment lean forward and rest his chin against his hands.] That so? Well, I've always taken warnings with a grain of salt, I see no reason to change that as of now.
