(no subject)

[Donna appears on the plane, somewhat guarded and weary. She looks around for a moment but then relaxes just slightly, pushing her hair out of her face]

Anyone needs me, I'm going to the pub. I need a pint. Or two.

[and thus she begins the trek to the pub]

Mmhmm. {Combing through her hair idly with her fingers, looking at it instead of Donna} It's where I was born and where I thought I would die. I didn't know anything else other than just trying to survive from day to day, actually.

I knew that I was, but I couldn't stop it. It's not easy to explain, really...

I mean that it's not easy to explain because I don't know how to describe it. It's...never happened to me before. It happened to Saya once, in Vietnam, but...

{She thinks about it for a moment before she tries to explain it as Amshel did} Amshel said...Amshel said it was like, since we're kind of a combination of a human and an animal, it's like we were back to that animal part. He said it's an...instinctual {Which is pronounced very carefully} reaction to a stressful thing, I think. Something like that, but I don't really understand what he said.

...? Is that what it's like? I've never seen a lion before.
