[it's too much for Sam, who saw the smile as the Master killed Gene - he spins around and grabs the Master by the lapels, snarling] I saw you! I saw you kill him, so don't you dare pretend at that with me!

[takes a step back, nearly stumbling over his own feet. He can't look the Master in the eyes] Just tell me where.

[he hisses instinctively at being grabbed before regaining composure] Then you are mistaken. I have been quite busy killing those things in my own world, and only came to this plane to drop off a jewel.

[he steps away as well] This way, then.

[and he begins to walk at a clipped pace]

[gives him a dark look, but follows beside him, until he spots Gene's body. He stops, eyes locked on the body, and then runs over, dropping to his knees and touching his Guv's face] Stupid bastard. [Sam bows his head again Gene's chest, body shaking, before he recovers himself and stands. He rubs his eyes again and nods curtly to the Master] Thank you. I'll take care of it from here.
