I never thought I would welcome a break like this.

Oh, I am quite accustomed to attending public gatherings and meetings as such, but there are times where I wonder if the Eppestans forget that I do require just a bit more rest than they do. Or the fact that attending countless events that go into the morning hours does tire me out quicker than it does them.

[obviously still amused nonetheless, smiling] It is a shame I was unable to bring any recording of sorts of the orchestral performances from last night, though. Such beautiful playing would have helped to ease my frustration of listening to the council earlier on. Really now, it would seem that some things never do change in relation to matters within politics.

Had I missed anything important in the duration of my absence here?

Spending five hours listening to stuffy old men debate over tedious matters would certainly qualify as a dull moment, though not a particularly pleasant one.
