001- Another Dizzy Day

[Pops onto the Plane in mid-step and stops, foot in the air, looking rather confused. His clothes are a study in 1930s fashion, from the single-breasted green jacket to two-tone shoes. His clothes are also riddled with bullet holes—from single-breasted jacket to, yes, his two-tone shoes. He, however, doesn’t have a scratch on him, and neither does the hat in his hands.] Huh. Well that’s different.

You too. Haven't been around before, I guess. [Gives the place a once-over and scratches his head.] Pretty snazzy decor.

I guess I should say 'Welcome to the Astral Plane' then. This place is pretty to look at, even if it is strange at times.

[Puts his hat back on.] 'Astral Plane'. Not a gin mill, is it? [Frowny face.] Pretty shabby service.

[Laughs] Actually, I think there is a bar around here somewhere.
The Astral Plane...well I'm not sure how to describe this place. I know it's a place that connects to a bunch of different realities.

Different realities? [Crosses his arms behind his head.] Like dimensions or something?

I guess that's another way of putting it. Almost everyone here is from different realities, and you get some pretty strange things because of it that...like animals that can talk.

Huh. [Looks around. Frowny thoughtful face.] Any demons?

D..d.demons!? You mean real demons? I don't think there's any, although I wouldn't put anything past this place.... [That possibility hadn't occurred to Dino before and now he's slightly worried]

[Is too used to the idea to be perturbed.] Yeah, real demons. There's fake ones?

So this could be a summons nexus of some kind, then...

There are people who call themselves demons but those are just nicknames. I didn't even know real demons existed!

[Shrug.] Never seen one myself, but Szilard remem-- [Ugh. Headache surges up with abrupt and painful force. He presses his hand against his face.]

[Concerned] You sure?

[Pounding in his head intensifies. He can smell the ocean and the ozone smell of an approaching storm. The deck creaks under him, and he stands over the pile of empty clothes the wind toys with and laughs...

And then realizes he's laughing now, too, despite the fact that his head feels like it's splitting open. Also realizes that he's on his knees on the Plane. The laughter trails off, and he gives Dino a small, pained grin from his position on the ground.]

[Kind of staring at him in shock. People collapsing and then laughing aren't isn't really normally for him...and it probably isn't a good sign.] What was that about? [Offers his hand to help Firo up]

[Accepts the hand, more than a little concerned and embarrassed himself.] It's... well. It's not normal, anyway. Maiza says the fits will probably go away eventually, but.... [He shakes himself and dusts off the knees of his pants, and then blinks down at them.]

Don't really need to bother, huh?

[Slow shrug.] Don't really know you.

[Laughs] That's true. Can't say I blame you for not trusting me. [Looks over the bullet hole riddled clothes again and comes to a conclusion] I suppose I had better tell you that you can get back home just by thinking about it.

[Relaxes.] Yeah, someone mentioned it. [Ironic grin.] Considering the reception waiting back home, I might wander here a bit before I blow. You said there was a bar?

Yeah, there's suppose to be a bar around here somewhere. A word of warning though, the cops are probably going to be suspicious of a guy wandering around looking like he just came out of a gunfight.
