[Hei appears on the Plane and promptly collapses, flopping onto his back and breathing hard. He looks exhausted, but he's also grinning. After a moment, he catches his breath.]

I did it. It finally worked.

[Frowns, not really sure how to articulate.] I'm just used to people treating me a certain way when they learn what I am. The people here, though...[Shakes his head.] It's just confusing.

[Thinks about this for a second, remembering what Li had told him about Contractors] How are you used to people treating you when they find out you're a Contractor?

A tool, a monster, a traitor...all of the above, usually. The humans in my world hate and fear Contractors, and for good reason. [Said as if by rote,] Contractors have no conscience and no soul. They can kill in cold blood without a second thought.

Since you're the only Contractor here, we have to judge by what you have done. And you don't seem like such a bad person to me, Li.

[Chuckles, soft and bitter.] What I've done...you have no idea what I've done, Shun. That's exactly it. There's no such person as "Li Shengshun." It's all lies. Yet they choose to trust me, not knowing who I really am, not knowing what I've done...[Shuts up, wondering why the hell he's telling this to Shun.]

[Doesn't know really know what to say to everything Li is tell him. But Shun's still curious know, and a little concerned about the other man. Whatever else Li is, he isn't a monster, that Shun is sure of.] Then...what have you done? Saints...really aren't very Saintly. We aren't ordinary and all of us have done things we aren't proud of. I doubt you've done worse then some of the Saints I've meet.

Saints may not be very saintly, but your job is to protect the world, isn't it? The greater good. Contractors don't care about things like that. The only thing that drives them is self preservation. [Closes his eyes.] You can't compare Contractors and Saints. They're nothing alike.

Deathmask,...Milo...,they're Saints and assassins. Maybe it's not exactly the same, but I doubt it's that different.

If Contractors don't care about the greater good, why did you try to help against Hades?
