anyone want to confess?

[There's a poof of sand and Wolfwood appears carrying a very odd looking model church in his hands. Looking around quickly, he grins and plops the church over the head of the nearest person.]

Got any sins needin' confessin'? Any blasphemous acts or indiscretions? It's on the house!

[ooc: In the anime, Wolfwood did this to the driver in exchange for letting him ride the bus for less than the going rate. So for the pleasure - or not - of anyone crossing his path today, he will 'confessionalize' anyone he sees. You can also manage to dodge the church/portable confessional but he will be very determined to put it on people's heads anyways.]

I could confess, but I'm not sure how much time you have on hand.

Relatively, yes. A sense of time is one of a Time Lord's senses - we'd really not be worth the title if it wasn't - and we're not existing in the absense of time, nor are we existing in anti-time - I would be physically ill, if we were - therefore there must be some time here.

Heard any juicy confessions lately, Father? [ Flirt flirt flirt! She's at it again! ]

Time not passing at home doesn't exclude time passing not at home. Probably a simple matter of two streams of time-space, the home world and the plane, where thought is the method of movement between the streams. Either the home stream is frozen by an outside force - that is, the Twins, Meredith, or a related body - or one is returned by an outside force to the exact moment of departure. Depends on whether or not one leaves the home stream when one goes to the plane's stream, really.

On the house?

[ She flutters her eyelashes ] Oh, Father, forgive me, as I find a man of the cloth very attractive! May the Goddess have pity on my soul!

I've never actually heard of anyone charging for confession.

[Blinks] What's that?

[identity profile] dameluckypants.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Do you make good money that way?

[identity profile] witchmaker.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
That's too bad! Good looking guys shouldn't take themselves out of the gene pool willingly. It's just unfair.

Well, people do tend to sin...

I've never seen a portable confession box. I haven't been in one since I moved out, either, though.

And how does one go about not being a part of the flock? Do I need to have my wool sheared?
