[suddenly appears running and trips, skidding back] D-Definitely not good!! [pulls out a metatag - a.k.a a slip of paper thing - and throws it down, which makes a pretty light pattern on the ground] D-damn thing...

[slumps down and pulls her knees up to her chest] It a-attacked something. I don't remember what... This isn't funny!! I hate stupid scary things! [arming herself anyway and going through her metatags] Stupid stupid...

[jumps back, blinking] I, uh - what are those?

Eh? [blinks and looks up] Oh. [taps her fingers and makes it go away] I use metatags for hacking but they work well for self defense. Brick walls are hard to get through.

Why were you panicking?

[aaaand instantly panicked again] There was a monster! It wasn't an Illegal, either, because I took my glasses off and I could still see it and it attacked something and my metatags weren't working and it was chasing me!

Wait! Wait, slow down. Start from the beginning. When did you first see the monster?

[frowns] I was on a case near my apartment. And there was this...this thing wandering around the site and it was chewing on something. It kinda reminded me of an Illegal but when I took my glasses off, I could still see it. So it's real.

What did it look like?

[waves her arms wildly over her] Big! Really really big! Really big. And it had these big things [makes horns with her fingers] and big teeth [and also making teeth with her fingers] and giant claws!

... Godzilla?

[pauses] ...Yes, basically. It was Godzilla.

... Godzilla. Really, truly Godzilla.

Mhm. It looks different but it's definitely a Godzilla-monster-thing.

... are you sure you saw the Godzilla-monster-thing?

I did! [grabs Sam's hand] I can even show you! It was there!

[looks at her hand] I'm not sure we can leave the level together, go back to the same place. But I'll try to find you. I promise. [drops off of the level, and spots Godzilla in Manchester! So of course he runs over to Godzilla, staring, and then sees Fumie] ...How did you get here?

[turns in surprise, raising a metatag again] Sam! [runs over to him] See? It's Godzilla! ...Kinda the old Godzilla. Not the newer ones. But scarier.

I grew up on the old Godzilla. [because, clearly, that's important] But how'd you get to Manchester?

[clearly it was also very important to note she was right first] Eh?? No, I'm not in Manchester. You're in Daikoku.

No, this is Manchester, 1973. Look! [points to a textile factory] That's the textile factor that's going to be my apartment one day.

[looks at it, then takes her glasses off and looks again] No, it's a manufacturing area for the speakers attached to glasses.

But it's -- [oh crap, Godzilla foot! Sam grabs Fumie and drags her away as the foot comes crashing down beside them]

[clings to Sam's arm for the moment] How do you kill Godzilla besides really big explosions??

Find King Kong and set them up against each other? --Is it going to eat that?? [and that would be Godzilla eating the textile factory. His eyes glaze across the apartment, as if they can't really catch hold of it] What - what did it just do?

[looks up from hiding in his arm] I...I don't know. [frowns] What was it going to eat? It didn't eat anyone, did it?

I don't know, I - [runs a hand through his hair] Forget it. Let's go back to the Astral plane. Someone might have news there, and while we are there, nothing will happen here.

[nods and shudders] Right... [then more determined] Right! Let's go Sam. We'll investigate!

[grins at her] Yeah, we will.
