[ Wandering through the plane today is a young woman with a blank look to her face. She doesn't seem impressed or bothered by anything, in fact she just appears rather lethargic to the whole situation. The red jacket doesn't match the light blue yukata, but she doesn't seem to be letting go of that jacket anytime soon. Her hands are balled into fists and rest in the pockets as the only physical sign that none of this was okay to her.
If she happens upon anyone, she'll walk up towards them, but won't bother greeting them vocally.
Otherwise she can be found lingering around the coliseum, staring intently down at some of the dried patches of blood. She doesn't talk to herself or speak out loud in any way, not unless she's approached. What a bum. ]

This place isn't used very often anymore. Those stains are very old.
[How helpful, Jacqli.]

[ She doesn't mean to come off as rude, but she's an abrupt kind of person who fails to waste time with meaningless words. The stains were old, older than they should be and it seems out of place with everything else. ]
Do you know what caused them?

No. There was once a series of fights to the death here, but that was before I arrived. I couldn't say if they were there before that or not. Besides, the Plane likes to clean itself up from time to time. You would think it would take care of the blood as well.
[Shrug.]
You're new. What brings you to the Coliseum? [Most people immediately traipse toward the bar or the kitchen, after all.]

It cleans up after itself? Isn't that strange... a bit sentient for a place that just exists.
[ What else is it capable of, she wonders. ]

Oh, hello! I didn't see you there!

[ Seems an obvious enough answer as she frowns a bit, unsure as to why she would bring it up in the first place. ]
Are you hurt?
no subject
[She's got you there, Castor.]
A place this big and echoey, I can usually hear people.
[Nice save.]
Eh? Oh no, just cramping up a little. Once I get some blood back in my hands it'll be fine.

Do people make it a habit to practice on these things? It's archaic.

I'm not sure.
This place is... surreal? [ The kindest way of putting it. ]

[she chuckles at the comment, though] You could say that. [taking the statement as enough of an indication that the girl is new, she adds:] I take it you just got 'ere. 'as anyone shown you the brochure yet?

While he's lost in thought, he starts setting up his targets. He hasn't switched his motion tracker on just yet--he was distracted after realizing he couldn't get his normal set of practice targets--so he switches it on and sees a little blip of movement from not too far away. He glances around and catches sight of someone new.]
Oh, uh, hello! [He sets his targets down from where he stands in the main area of the arena.] I didn't see you up there. Let me guess, you're new here, right?
